Ratzinger Overload
My successful prediction about Ratzinger becoming the next Pope has increased my site traffic over 100 times. During lunch today I started getting upwards of 9,000 hits an hour. It’s smoothed off to 6,000 right now. But who knows what happens after people get off work and look around. In any event, it’s starting to cause some hosting difficulties with page display, etc. I hear the site’s not working in FireFox. I know it sucks, but Internet Explorer still is showing it for some reason. In any event, I am on top of this and already contacted my host to upgrade to unlimited/unmetered traffic allowance. It should kick in within 24 hours, if all goes smoothly. A thanks and hello to everyone who’s stopping by for the first time. What a weird exciting time to be alive, eh?
A FEW HOURS LATER…
Well, after writing some more posts on the topic, I think I’ve hit all the angles I wanted to cover about Raztinger/Benedict. If anybody thinks of some other good ones, please drop me a line. Otherwise, I’ll try to get back to my “regular” topics again after this.

good gravy, that’s incredible! somebody must’ve linked you somewhere high-trafficky. i’m seeing a modest increase in traffic (it’s only doubled, really).
btw, i have no trouble seeing your site w/firefox.

its all the traffic from “ratzinger nazi” as a query thats doing it. that and “gloria olivae”
interestingly, a whole bunch of forums, maybe about 15 or so have picked up links to this article already. i only rarely get picked up by forums, and usually weird occult ones. these ones are on all topics, from all over the world. in french, german, spanish and english so far. i never really realized how forums sometimes are the “first wave” of information dissemination on the web, as annoying as they are

you could throw in some of the eclipse junk if you didn’t already. the comments from my post about it were heading in an interesting direction if you take the “black” pope idea to have something to do with the eclipse that marked the end of the last era.

yes found my way here because of googling the pope, but have decided to stick around for the other intelligent discussion. site works in firefox just fine here. surprised you haven’t jumped into the 2012 mayan calendar - terrence mckenna - novelty theory -end of time fray though - seems to be the most popular apocalypse theory around these parts with the kids - along with occasional whiffs of the technological singularity and the collapse of industrial civilization
i like to see where you are going with the search engine idea - i think magick and conscious remaking of ritual/story/myth can be a good meta-programming tool for the brain -
