Labels to Divide and Conquer
Just got turned on to a great quote off of a website that I pretty much otherwise hate. I think the reason is because the quote comes from a commenter, rather than the site author. The site is Henry Makow’s chilling blend of New World Order conspiracy theory and anti-feminist, overtly misogynistic ranting: SaveTheMales.
For a little taste of Makow’s work, check out his most recent article: Rejection of Femininity Rooted in the Occult, which suggests that somehow occult forces are responsible for the increase of feminism and lesbianism in the world today. In it, Makow makes assertions about the female race such as: “Her life and happiness depends on her careful choice of husband.” And my personal favorite:
In the past, women had practical skills as wives and mothers. They learned to cook and sew and make the home beautiful and inviting. They became cultured and mastered a musical instrument.
Anyway, I could go on and on about this guy, but that’s not why I came here. I just wanted to establish that I don’t like what he stands for, so don’t consider my referencing his site as some kind of endorsement. Anyway, the following comment comes from a Marcos in Brazil:
About your article on Horowitz, it shows clearly the tactics the elite uses in the US. They divide the people in a false left and a false right, conservatives and liberals, and create a package that can’t be individualized, like those cable TV packages where you have to pay for channels you don’t want.
What I mean is that if you are a Christian, you are supposed to be pro-Bush and pro-war. If you are a liberal, you have to accept abortion. You can not have your own ideas, you can not be a pro-life Christian who is opposed to war and against the IMF, for example.
In this clever way, they divide and conquer. For a person to be against Communism AND Bush is unthinkable, because there are no categories that would fit such a person.
Therefore, if you are aware of the influence of the Illuminati in society and is against all their actions, you are in a no-man’s land. You are half liberal, half conservative, half Christian, etc. You don’t exist. You can’t find support groups or people who think like yourself because most people buy the whole package, either conservative or liberal.
I think it’s unfortunate that such an excellent explanation has to turn into some kind of rant against the Illuminati by the end, but sometimes you gotta take the bad with the good. Anyway, I think the whole thing about cable tv channels is a brilliant analogy. It also reminds me of cell phone plans, which operate in a very similar way. It’s just a great take on the idea of reducing language infinitely downward to limit the potential for expression and understanding.
