		<description>item 8 is of interest: might this have something to do with Project HAARP and Tesla technology.  If memory serves, Tesla once boasted that he could split the earth in half by using it's own electro-magnetic field.  Allegedly, the basic technology was explored and improved upon by Dr. Bernard Eastlund, a physicist, who made patent applications for this stuff in the early 80's.  The military classified the patents and they are now the property of  a major defense contractor, Raytheon.  There are HAARP facilities in Alaska that the government claims are purely for "ionospheric research" so please don't bother looking into it, but might the big gaping crack in Texas be an example of this technology being used?      </description>
