“Only a Sith deals in absolutes.”
Aside from people who don’t think I’m “occult enough”, probably the biggest criticism I hear is that I’m too judgemental. All I can say is “Hell, yeah!” I’m often judgemental. And I’m also often wrong. There’s nothing inherently bad about either one. A major part of questioning is offering tentative answers, the hypothesis that you test and revise. I find if you don’t put it out there and risk pissing people offering or saying something stupid, then you pretty much don’t move at all. Or at least I don’t. Y’all can approach this however you want. Anyway, I’m trying to question everything - and that might include you and what you hold as important or real or valid. I’m not trying to be a bitch. I’m just trying to shake things loose.
But thanks for bearing with me while I muddle through all of this.

yeah, I was reading through this old gnostic gospel and in it the demiurge came down and talked to adam and said :
Dude! fuck em if they can’t take a joke!

You know, I never thought of that before… about the Demiurge as being a trickster. Like what if it’s all just supposed to be funny, but everybody’s taking it too goddamned seriously? Makes more sense than anything. Like what if theodicy, the “question of evil” is nothing more than that it’s funny to see a dude slip on a banana peel and have everybody get all worked up about it?

Fuck, man. i think you’re right.
I might have to change the whole direction of my site now. Alll this lucifer worshipping paedophile sacrificial shit is getting me down. I feel like i need to take a shower every time I write something. particularly after this last one. yeesh.

this reminds me of that weird “fun rules” guy in waking life. i mean it seems like that’s basically what he’s saying.. he’s like, hey, guess what, your reality is TOTALLY subjective! grab a beer, pull up a lawn chair! develop 360-vision!
i read recently that he died either during the production or shortly after the release of that movie.. it makes me wonder if he wasn’t just some kind of weird mystic who decided it would be more fun to fuck around in a less binding dimension.
on being wrong/judgmental — i think both are perfectly healthy. i don’t like people who are constantly dancing around issues and are unwilling to make statements. it weakens the dialogue. then again, i COULD BE WRONG.

Yeah, I mean I don’t really get how pedophilia could be a “joke” but maybe a better example would be somebody who watches a Dave Chappelle sketch. The dude says all kinds of racist shit like crazy. And if you get sensitive to that fact, then you’ll forget it’s actually supposed to be funny.

Yeah you’re right, it does weaken a conversation when everybody’s too worried to actually say anything of consequence. It just turns into bland pleasantries and head-nodding.

The first ttime I read Hypostasis of the archons it totally cracked me
and still does
i mean, its fucking brilliant and hilarious
“Adam where are you” he asked because he did not know
“Then the archns returned to the garden in a great thunder”
like angry parental figures getting outwitted by dennis the menace
they get outwitted and tricked by adam and eve and the serpent at every turn
like the second treatise of seth says “the chief archon was a laughingstock!”
I mean think about it - he was a LAUGHING STOCK
Reread second seth
or the gospel of philip: “When Jesus came out of the water he came out laughing… because he was filled with CONTEMPT!”
LOL, Rise above.
“Laughter liberates not only from external censorship, but first of all from the great interior censor; it liberates from… fear of the sacred, of prohibitions, of the past, of power… Seriousness had an official tone… It oppressed, frightened, bound, lied and wore the mask of hypocrisy… Thus, distrust of the serious tone and confidence in the trust of laughter [has] a spontaneous, elemental character.”
