Just came across this interesting tidbit from Timothy Leary’s autobiography, Flashbacks.

All we can do is spread the word.

The first person who can connect this to the Priory of Sion and the Da Vinci Code is GUARANTEED to become a millionaire author. I swear to God! I’ll have to look for more information on this. Found this along with some other very interesting information regarding Leary’s possible involvement with the CIA.

I found a site that claims Huxley’s grandfather tutored H.G. Wells and was a member of some group in England called the Round Table. Also Wikipedia reproduces a 1961 quote from a speech of Aldous to The California Medical School in San Francisco :
“There will be in the next generation or so a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them but will rather enjoy it.”

It appears the openly creative and opposed to this system will be gobbled up. And/or sucked up and recombined within the system’s gastric/digestive system.
Cultural cannibalization is what is killing us. The system is now so useless it must suck everything up and brandish it as though it were its own. Yet the system is losing its currency nonetheless.
You know in those games where you only have so much fuel to supply thrust and then you become at the mercy of gravity? Well, that’s how I envision this shit happening. The economy, the culture, the propaganda is burning through every last option it has. Soon we will begin to sink into the abyss of savagery. Because you see, there is nothing to stop the plummet. There is no grassroots alternative groundswell.
What will happen is we will be fed by subcontractors in polyester tuxedos or we will not be fed at all. We will live, work and fight, on “their” dime, in their housing and predesigned communities, with their propaganda and watchful neighbors and untold boundaries. America must become cafeteria style.
Soup lines anyone? Only this time with the glint of the olden days. The corporations will say: “You are not alone!”.
there was appently some guy, they did an article on him for disinfo, who was responsible for turning leary and a lot of other guys onto acid, and he was spearheading work in curing psychological disorders with lsd, and even alchoholism, and when leary started his messianic trip, there was quite rift becasue all the serious medical work was going to get flushed becasue leary was telling all the suburban kids to drop acid and turn society upside down.

Having read a lot of Huxley, I think it’s a reasonable assertion to put him in the pantheon of ANTI-NWO titans. Therefore, I have to assume that alistair is right… he was talking about two very different kinds of pharmaceuticals, which could be put to two very different kinds of uses. He was a cheerleader about one kind, and a prophet of doom about the other. I think it’s fairly clear which ones he supported, and which ones he was warning us about.
If I remember correctly, Well’s Round Table group was also influential in his ideas and book The Open Conspiracy.
