he’s a great guy and knowledgeable scholar but his grasp of spirutality is shaky.

I think it comes through fairly easily in his writing that he's enlightened and knows the territory (be it spiritual, physical, or energetic.) I'm not sure how people who read his books miss this...

in this case he was reffering to the bioelectric force in the body, or ‘chi’, and he tended to equate that with ’spirit’ even though he had read enough to know better

This instance is as much spiritual and psychological as it is energetic, but it's true that it occured as a consequence of his kundalini awakening (the aforementioned "bioelectric force.") However, when he says "spirit", I'm inclined to believe he's talking about the awakened shadow, not simply bioelectric energy.

he’s kind of gone on a bit of cult trip lately,

What the hell are you basing that off of?

I've known glenn for many years. he's a great guy and knowledgeable scholar but his grasp of spirutality is shaky. in this case he was reffering to the bioelectric force in the body, or 'chi', and he tended to equate that with 'spirit' even though he had read enough to know better. he's kind of gone on a bit of cult trip lately, but there's a lot wisdom in his writings , particularly for the martial artist.
