What conspiracies do you hope really are true, and why?

That all of time is presently accessible through our information overload in a McLuhan sense. Because that means my theories of us being able to time-travel by simply imersing ourselves with the information we have into a state of mind (ala Remote Viewing) of those percieved times (past-present-future) are as “real” as being in that perticular time frame.

Second, if you were a member of the rich and powerful elite pulling the strings from behind the scenes, which conspiracies would you take part in?

The only problem with what maurice strong is doing, is the part where he’s made the price of admission living in his personal new age paradise of kabbalah water and crystal channeling. And I imagine he’s not gonna invite too many poor folks.

If you were building a secret hideaway, you wouldn’t invite poor people off the street either. And don’t try to tell me you would. You would invite your friends, family and people you trusted.

i would like to know what the plans are to manage or otherwise influence the dieoff.

I wish that De-evolution were 100% scientifically true. I know, I keep bringing it up to you in these comments, but it’s such a wacky, pataphysical take on all things scientific that I can’t resist.

My fave conspiracies are the ones that aren’t really conspiracies - just alternate explanations for things we take for granted that are so fucking freaky they rattle yer brain cage a bit.

Anything with a date or an actual historical event attached to it - or anything that has to do with politics - seems like a door that opens into paranoia and useless pattern formation

So aliens killed JFK or whatever. So what? WHat does that tell me about human life? How will that make me a more spiritual person, a more powerful sorceror, a better lover, a wittier guest at cocktail parties etc?

Possibly the least appealing idea about how life began on Earth. Thomas Gold of Cornell University suggested1 that biological contaminants accidentally left behind by interstellar survey parties could introduce life to a previously sterile or prebiotic world. He envisaged a group of extraterrestrial visitors having a picnic somewhere on the young Earth. What if they dropped a few crumbs of food and from the microbes in those crumbs we eventually evolved? See forward-contamination.

On that note, I am a big fan of the End of Days. Bring on the inferno, bitch! So either 2012-12-21 is gonna bring some sort of peculiar event — perhaps subtle, perhaps not — or that mother is going to reign some sweet-ass hellfire down as the sky opens up and the legions pour forth to devour human souls.

I was writing an online novel on the ol’ blog about an imaginary group called Council Corp, who use sound frequencies to manipulate world events. Therefore, if I were a multi-millionaire, I’d be doing just that. The Cold War-era Soviets made huge scientific leaps and bounds in the area of sound and vibration, without the kind of money that the U.S. had during the same time period. Leon Theremin figures largely in that legend.

The online novel is unfinished.

The truth is ineffable, and far more bizarre and wonderful than conceptual thought can approach.

And if I were one of the elite, I would be doing exactly what Jeff Wells thinks Maurice Strong is doing: trying to crash industrial civilization and funding eco-communities to survive it.
