I thought I’d re-post this excellent quote from Brian McLaren’s The Story We Find Ourselves In:
“Sometimes, I think the Bible is more of a question book than answer book; it raises questions that bring people together for conversation about life’s most important issues,”
If you’re not familiar with McLaren, he’s having a huge impact right now on something called the Emerging Church. I highly recommend checking it out, as I think it’s a movement entirely compatible to gnosticism, the occult, conspiracy theory and counter-culture in general. His quote above pretty much summarizes perfectly what I’m trying to do with this site.
