Pre-Order Sophia Stewart’s “Third Eye”

I just received an email from Sophia Stewart announcing the unveiling of her new personal website, and the soon-to-be available printing of her book “Third Eye”, which her lawsuit alleges that both the Terminator and Matrix movies are plagiarized from. Whether or not you believe her case, her story is too interesting to ignore. Her email goes on:

Thank you for supporting me during these trials and tribulations. The time has now come for us to claim our victory. Visit my official website today at www.sophiaoracle.com

Be the first to claim a piece of history by purchasing (presale) “The Book That Started It All” THE THIRD EYE. The first 10,000 buyers will receive the Limited Edition, hard cover copy, signed personally by me anyway you like. Also see how you can become a millionaire by visiting my website. Thank you again and God bless.

Uh oh, watch out! The pre-sale version of her book has a cover price of 100 bucks (and that doesn’t include shipping)! Also, in case you were wondering, the chance to win a million dollars that she mentions is that she’s looking for a bootleg of an original version of the Matrix from when it first came out. The details are here. There’s also an update on her lawsuit, which I guess goes to court in September? Things don’t sound like they are going perfectly though:

Stewart, who fired her lawyers end of June, says she fired her lawyers expect for one because the lawyers sold out on her.

Stewart, who discovered that her former lawyers did not pay careful attention to her case and took the lawsuit easily and naturally disregarding some of the most important evidence, was angry when she found out the truth about the lawyers.

I’ve asked Stewart to do an email interview with me (I can’t figure out how to get a phone interview recorded using my current tech set-up, nor do I have a bunch of money to buy equipment, etc), so we’ll see what she says.

Big claims for somebody who’s obviously a terrible writer.

What makes you say that Chris? Besides that email, I’ve not read much of her actual writing. I think the book may be in graphic novel form, but I could be wrong.

i smell another scam artist. $100??? no thanks, i’ll just rent the matrix again and keep the other 99.

hey, maybe her idea was stolen. happens all the time. but i don’t give a fuck about intellectual property. there is no such thing.

how does she really know it was her idea to begin with? how does she know that she doesn’t live in a matrix? the architect may have given her the ideas or written the story (may have written her) and he may have to take legal action.

please ask her that, because if she’s really serious about the ideas, her lawsuit is bogus.

and why is there nothing of value on her website? no writing, no ideas, only pictures showing how famous she is now, on the strength of a spurious lawsuit. whiffy.

unfortunately, that`s become the american dream. finding someone or group who is already successful and sueing them. and subtle insinuations of the racial angle also. the website is nicely done though. obviously some expectation there.

actually, there’s something AMAZING on her website that clarifies everything and supports every theory she’s ever claimed:

so when does she make the announcement that she’ll cause ufos to appear over the skies of las vegas?

seriously, tho’, imho, $100 is *FAR* too much to be asking. if it was like $15 or even $20, she could prolly get away with selling some. hell, i’d consider dropping $15 for a copy. but charging $100 really puts the kibosh on any desire i have for the thing.

i wonder if she’s not being ‘manipulated’ by some manager or lawyer who simply wants a share of the final cut, whenever it comes around.

Yeah, from a strict marketing perspective, she needs to recognize that the reason people would buy her book is merely curiousity. And while I’m absolutely curious, I am absolutely not $100 curious. Anyway, the real questions I have for her need to be asked to her directly, rather than to her book, so I’m hoping she’ll agree to the email interview. Because I think her story’s fascinating no matter whether people think its true or a scam or what.

o.k. so the luther vandross shit adds cred. one would think the e-mail interview would be good promotion for her site.
