Yeah, from a strict marketing perspective, she needs to recognize that the reason people would buy her book is merely curiousity. And while I'm absolutely curious, I am absolutely not $100 curious. Anyway, the real questions I have for her need to be asked to her directly, rather than to her book, so I'm hoping she'll agree to the email interview. Because I think her story's fascinating no matter whether people think its true or a scam or what.

so when does she make the announcement that she'll cause ufos to appear over the skies of las vegas?

seriously, tho', imho, $100 is *FAR* too much to be asking. if it was like $15 or even $20, she could prolly get away with selling some. hell, i'd consider dropping $15 for a copy. but charging $100 really puts the kibosh on any desire i have for the thing.

i wonder if she's not being 'manipulated' by some manager or lawyer who simply wants a share of the final cut, whenever it comes around.

unfortunately, that`s become the american dream. finding someone or group who is already successful and sueing them. and subtle insinuations of the racial angle also. the website is nicely done though. obviously some expectation there.

and why is there nothing of value on her website? no writing, no ideas, only pictures showing how famous she is now, on the strength of a spurious lawsuit. whiffy.

i smell another scam artist. $100??? no thanks, i'll just rent the matrix again and keep the other 99.

hey, maybe her idea was stolen. happens all the time. but i don't give a fuck about intellectual property. there is no such thing.

how does she really know it was her idea to begin with? how does she know that she doesn't live in a matrix? the architect may have given her the ideas or written the story (may have written her) and he may have to take legal action.

please ask her that, because if she's really serious about the ideas, her lawsuit is bogus.

What makes you say that Chris? Besides that email, I've not read much of her actual writing. I think the book may be in graphic novel form, but I could be wrong.
