On Vacation

Hello all. Just wanted to let you know I’m going on vacation starting tomorrow morning, August 6, until August 13. So I won’t be posting or otherwise updating this site during that week. Nor will I have the opportunity to respond to any emails or comments. Speaking of comments, they are programmed to close automatically after 5 days of the time of their original posting, both to prevent spam and to keep conversations from dragging on into infinity. So if you come looking during the week to post a comment and you can’t, that’s why. My plans are to spend the week by the beach with my family and generally do nothing. Maybe some light reading, possibly fishing, who knows? There are a lot of things we’ve been talking about here lately that I want to continue when we get back. But it’s probably worth it to take a week away and let a lot of thise simmer before dipping back in. I have the sense that we’re on the verge of a lot of really cool stuff, and I just wanted to thank everybody who’s been participating and driving the on-going conversation in such new and interesting directions. If you’re really itching for something to read in my absence, check out the blogs and websites listed on the left side of my screen, cause there’s lot of good writers and interesting people out there waiting for you to read them. Anyway, I have a bunch of stuff to take care of tonight, so I’ll catch you all later. Have a good week, and we’ll start this party up again when I get back. To quote Mr. Rogers: “You’ll have things you’ll want to talk about. I - will - too.

Have a good vacation. As for me, I haven’t had much to say for the past few days, partially because I haven’t had hours to spend dicking around on the ‘net… I just started a new job as a Business Researcher (not nearly as cool as being an Occult Investigator, but it pays decently!) and have had to get used to nine hour workdays. Ah well, I should have a day or two off up here soon to work on my own research projects…
