Gnostic Brand™

Jordan Stratford of egina put together a couple awesome gnostic desktop wallpaper pieces. There’s one in 1280×1024 and another in 1024×768 resolution. Both of them are pretty sweet graphics. But more than anything, it makes me wonder how long it will be before somebody somewhere knuckles down and turns “gnostic” into a viable brand name, as far as marketing goes. It seems inevitable to me. And I used to be all against it and whatnot, but now I’m not. It makes sense to use imagery and tell stories to enact change in the world - that’s what marketing is all about. Of course, there’s lots of different types of changes and intentions that can be manifested into the world. And that’s certainly something to consider. It seems like if it’s going to be done at all though, it may as well be done by us, the people who are actually into it and have some semblance of an idea of what it’s really all about in the first place.

uhh, you should read what the American caliphate went through to retain rights to Crowley’s body of work… Koening refers to it as “McOTO”.
