Eye Power!
Somebody emailed me today with what I think is an interesting question:
Do you have any clues or hunches on why so many charismatic people have such intense and brilliant eyes?
Has anybody else found this to be the case? Is there any truth to it? If so, what might the connection be? Do eyes radiate energy as well as take in energy?

I’m not going to get into detail, but I’ve covered this before. And feel free to disagree with me, this is what my research has helped me understand:
The eye picks up and makes sense of lightwaves, energy between certain frequencies, and interprets them as colours.
In holography, we can look and interact with the universe in ways that approach it as “frozen light” in a sense.
Consciousness has similar properties as light. While exhibiting an EEG of everyday thought — about 14 Hz — the mind is interacting and concentrated upon thoughts much as a common lightbulb gives off light, in every direction, this way and that. When refined, however, the mind can entrain itself unto lower frequencies until it becomes concentrated, much as a laser.
This concentration shifts the individual’s focus from a multitude of stimuli to a much more refined target of focus. Much as a laser penetrates and interacts with a hologram, in such that it takes a pure laser beam to create the original hologram, refined concentration can interact with reality in a similar manner. Where a hologram can be cut up infinitesimally, a pure laser can still produce the orginal hologram out of it. A thought can find the same structure in all of reality if refined and concentrated upon with enough know-how and diligence.
The eyes aren’t actually organs, they are a part of the brain. The are morphogenically similar to the pineal gland. And approximately 80% of all light that enters the eyes is not processed by the part of the brain that deals with sight, but goes to the hypothalamus, the eyes are hugely not understood in their full functions.
From what I can tell, the eyes are, in fact, the windows to the soul. They are a manifest aspect of the human body that allows consciousness to interact with the “frozen light” of this realm and, with those that have a disposition to greatness and intuition, chances are more likely that they are more “in touch” with other aspects of their own consciousness — such as interacting lucidly at lower EEGs.
Through phenomenological existentialism, we can explore the concept of intersubjectivity. This would imply, along with numerous interpretations of mystical systems, that the illusion of space-time is in conjunction with our interaction senses — eyesight being the foremost and most blatant of them all — and those with a “deeper” sense of their place and interaction within the universe will have a more intense reflection for those looking into thei eyes.
We are all reflections of one another, and we generally require social contact in order to further explore our own definitions of ourselves. Those with more depth will appear to us as more complex, and generally intimidating, or exceptionally caring, individuals. Many adjectives could be uses here, but I won’t go down that road.
It can also be tied into Zen meditations dealing with “being the rock.” Or whatever. One of the first lessons the Illuminates of Thanateros teaches in its 4° is to practice concentration and visualisation exercises. They are paramount to any sort of magical work. By relaxing and losing yourself to staring at an object, you zone out the rest of the world and take on a sort of entrained frequency of being as whatever your subject is, be it a rock or flower or poop. Your concentration refines, lowers in frequency to something akin to the laser, and you garner an occult knowledge of the subject. Something beyond words.
Once you learn to do this with objects of no significance to your ego, you can start working on symbols and cultural artefacts, then on persons. You will know more about them than they know about themselves. Just as the laser can reproduce a hologram out of any-sized piece of the original, we all carry the same essence. We are all connected. Anyone can see into me. I am transparent to the universe, and I commune with the universe.

Wlson talks about Husserl (sp?) and phenomenological exisentialism at great length in “the mind parasites”
I guess I could google it, but then i wouldn’t know the occult significance - what is it, if you don’t mind expounding?

A lot of that jives with my own experiences. When I was religious, I made a habit of maintaining humility (ie ego detachment). I was also doing kungfu at the time, so I was doing some of my own brand of energy work (centered primarily around the heart, which I thought appropriate, being Christian). It was during this time that I had my flash-of-light-and-epiphany exerience. But also, when I was able to tune out all the crap in my mind (higher frequency piddly stuff I suppose) and get heart-centered, my awareness shot up (felt great, totally clear, sometimes I’d even have ESP (eg moving to counter someone’s moves and striking them before they had even really begun their attack during sparring)). I remember one particularly successful day, when a friend of mine met me at my room before we went to the gym. I looked at him in the eyes, and watched an invisible shell melt away. They softened, and I had to look away, because I knew I was about to get a real, intimate look into his soul, and I was afraid of intimacy. I saw that he could tell something was up (he kind of zoned out, and lost track of what he was going to say). He opened up more after that, even though I only sporadically attained that magical state afterwards.
My grandpa had the eye power, too. He could make girls blush just by looking at them. I’ve noticed also, that women (traditional, especially (ie math-abhorring, intuitive, like my mom)) have brighter eyes and greater awareness. Perhaps all our abstract thought screws up the eye powers. Maybe that’s also why the “white man” kills all the native people (”WTF you have souls and eye powers > abstract thinking and civilization!!”).
