New About Me Section

If you haven’t noticed, I’m gradually re-formatting major aspects of my website. Some old stuff is fading into the background, while some new things are coming into focus. Part of the new stuff will include an About Me which is available in the side bar, and talks a little bit about my life and motivations for doing this website. It has one essay on it right now, which will eventually be added to with some other items over time. Check it out.

    Man, you had some cool teachers! How did Mr. Gaffney get away with having kids take apart TVs? I though there were super-high voltage capacitors or something in TVs. All the TVs I’ve seen have “do not open” warnings. I always assumed that warning was to keep people from finding the camera inside…(why does cable go both ways?)

    Yeah Mr. Gaffney was crazy. I have a more detailed story about him here and the crazy shit he let us do - like play with small chainsaws!
