the leader of the raelians dresses like a star trek character. i thought it was some sort of joke at first but the guy is serious about the religion. and yes those people are paying money for entertainment and it would appear that they believe they`re getting thier money`s worth.and i imagine the cost of a good quality klingon suit and a trip to a trekkie convention could take 1% of a 7/11 clerks salary.

Once a year there was a special service where everyone would walk up the isle and put this envelope containing their promise to tithe into a big golden bowl on a pedestal. Then the pastor would give a sermon on how God expects us to give of our “time, treasures, and talents.” Talk about a scam!
