Oh, I was not aware of this theory. I had heard more politically-based conspiracy theories surrounding his death. Well, to be fair to the conspiracy theories (which sounds ridiculous, of course), I’ve not seen any that suggest he didn’t kill himself. They dealt more with what lead him to do it, namely the rumored possibility that he was involved in a pedophile ring. I don’t know that I believe it, but these are the rumors. Rigorous Intuition has many posts which deal with this.

The conspiracy theories are incorrect. I spoke with Anita, his wife, the day he died. She called to hear some words of spiritual advice from my former employer (Deepak Chopra). Our conversation was interesting and yes, Hunter took his own life. But I’m really disappointed that my boss couldn’t even find a minute or two to speak with her! That’s what happens when one becomes a “spiritual leader” I suppose…

Soon after he died, I had a dream where I saw Hunter S. Thompson where I asked him what it’s like to be a dead man. I forget what he said, but soon after I met him the archons chased me out of the Dead Man’s Zone, or whatever you want to call it. Thompson was on this highway in some vehicle, I can’t possibly describe, drinking something and smoking, and there was someone else in the vehicle with him. I was somehow keeping up with them alongside the vehicle even though I didn’t have one, I may have been on top of a train or a truck or something. He seemed to be having a good time.
