Since I’m more into the monster-talk than the philosophical wanking I accidentally inspired yesterday, I thought I’d promote one of Jeremy’s comments from my Share the Monsters! post:

now here’s a good question: on at least five occasions, my encounters with entities have been shared with other individuals and independently verified. other folks were present who described seeing/experiencing the same things i did. did anyone else ever have shared experiences like this, or were your experiences individual/when you were alone?

I’m trying to think if I’ve ever had any that were in the midst of other people. I can’t really think of any offhand. Most of my monster encounters have I guess been totally solo ventures. The other question worth asking here is whether something seen/experienced by many people is somehow more “real” than something seen or experienced only by you with no outside verification?
