I grew up around military bases, and let me tell you, the air force really does think that it can keep a secret at mach 2 over a residential neighborhood. I witnessed both the B-2 bomber and the F-117 fighter, the “stealth” program while it was still secret, flying around overhead at low enough altitudes to be very, very obvious. My dad took me to an astronomy club meeting to look at the telescopes and the stealth fighter rolls out of the hanger next door–while it’s still all hush-hush. I hear they have the same shenanigans going on out in the Northwest.

I like R.A.Wilson’s statement, I’m paraphrasing: “I see UFOs everyday. I also see NUFOs everyday–what’s the big deal?”

cool idea sent to me on this:

On the UFO map story - what would be really interesting is to add onto
the map all the ‘likely’ military bases in the US and see if there’s any
correlation in terms of prototype aircraft.
