George Bush, Master of the Occult

There’s been a lot of speculation that George W. Bush’s regime rose to and stays in power not through ordinary, but through supernatural means.

Finally, we have proof. And it ain’t Jesus who’s backin’ him up.

Thanks to a great blog called Rune Logix, that is. The author of Rune Logix managed to get a pre-presidential George W. Bush to sign a copy of Aleister Crowley’s essay collection, Konx Om Pax. The author also provides Bush signature samples as a means of helping establish the authenticity of this signature beyond merely his own say-so.

Absolutely awesome catch. We should try to catch some other politicians and celebrities with this trick. I’d definitely love to see this meme catch on and spread far and wide.

there are suggestions that the magus may have interviewed hermann hess after he defeted to the british during ww II. i read that in a book about the occult interests of the nazis and the alleged possession by the nazisof the sword of barabus. the title escapes me for the moment.

Can’t help but think your boy fucked’ up.

The signature (on the inside page) cross the outer-flap.

Compression artifact or bad photoshop job?

    I’d have to see a hi-res to believe it…

that is the weirdest signature ever. It looks like a some 2s or 3s segueing into some z’s, a’s, and perhaps an l. None of which are in “George Bush.” haha.

the alleged possession by the nazis of the sword of barabus.

Do you mean the Spear of Longinus, aka the Spear of Destiny? I’ve never heard of Barrabus having a sword mentioned anywhere. I’d love to hear about it if he did though.

Furonin: I don’t really care if this is a faked image or not. It’s a fun story either way. I also love how everyone has an expert-level knowledge in Photoshop!

    greetings,

the photograph was taken in low light and it does appear fubar. thanks for pointing this out, when i can get it out of storage i will take another look at the book. i did add a disclaimer that there is no 100% proof of bush signing this, and it would not hold up as admissable evidence in a court of law, and you can believe what you want. i will add another picture comparing showing that edge of the book cover as time permits.

    thanks,
    andrew

Mr. Crowley, Mr. Bush Likes You

Okay, there’s no indication the future President of the United States is really a fan of the king of Magick, Aleister Crowley. But he does appear to have autographed a copy of one of Crowley’s books. Tim Boucher’s Occulture points…
