I'm going to keep posting in more fragmentary thoughts there and engage people in interesting discussions, use this for more long format stuff, and the linklog for super shorties.

Wouldn’t the link part of the forum be the same thing? I do like the idea, but I guess that would mean that the link area in the forum would be for us to use and you probably wouldn’t post too much in there yourself if you had your own link page.

I kind of want these to have their own separate URL's though, so they can have permanent addresses, rather than the more ephemeral approach this guy seems to be taking. And if you wanted to do one-line commentary you could put it in the "alt" text so it would show up when you mouse over.
