Good news for all you Web 2.0 nerds out there: I have just installed a modification (or “mod” to use the slang), which takes the posts over at the Pop Occulture Forum and churns out a variety of handy RSS feeds. You can take these and add them to any RSS news aggregator your little heart desires. You can either keep a watchful eye on the forum as a whole, specific sections, or even watch for responses to a topic you posted. It’s all very exciting - if you’re a geek that is.
Here’s the URL for the RSS feed which displays the 15 most recent posts in the forum. Hopefully all the rest of them are pretty easy to find.
This technological leap forward made possible by PunBB (which powers the forum) and Alex King who wrote the PunBB RSS mod which brings us the customizable RSS feeds.
PS. Over the next few days, I plan to create some kind of “portal” which aggregates the latest posts from both blogs (plus my tech one - yet to be created), plus the forum. This way, even people without RSS readers can browse all four sets of postings in one handy location.
One related technical item: does anybody know of a (free) plugin, hack or add-on for WordPress which lets you administer multiple WordPress installs from one interface? Soon, I’ll have three separate ones, and it’d be rad if I could work them all from one location.

Wheee! Thank you.
Great!
I’ve taken the liberty (I hope you don’t mind) of adding your posts to a web site I’m working on. If you object please let me know!
Thanks for making the RSS!
if you wanted to show me the website and the context in which youre using it, thatd be great. more than likely i wont mind as long as im being credited and linked to
OK cool.. the site is almost ready to roll.. almost..
The idea is to link to your articles directly, as soon as you publish them. My site is about Occulture. Still working on it really, but the web space was kindly given to me for free (no ads or anything!).
Here you go - if you don’t think your posts are right for it I’ll remove the RSS A.S.A.P.
Thanks
oh yeah i spotted that yesterday in my logs. its perfectly fine with me
Thank you very much Tim!
