22 accused in using puppies to smuggle drugs

The Drug Enforcement Administration arrested 22 Colombian nationals for smuggling heroin into the United States via various methods, including surgically implanting the drug into puppies, officials said Wednesday.

The Colombian organization brought more than 20 kilograms of heroin into the United States, concealing some of it by slitting open purebred puppies, according to John P. Gilbride, the DEA’s New York Field Division special agent-in-charge, in a news release.

At least three puppies died from having liquid heroin packets placed inside them and then being stitched back up, DEA spokesman David Ausiello said.

Those poor puppies.

    I’m sorry, but I have a bit of an off topic alert, that I felt needed to be posted. This doesn’t have anything to do with drug dogs, but I think it is equally as sad (but in a different way) But anyway I just found this strange and slightly disturbing website, that I think some of ya’ll should see… http://theresistancemanifesto
    Some guy named “John Conner” (guessing its a psuedonym) claiming resistance against the NWO, Illuminati and their sort… I wouldn’t have really felt the need to post this except the first thing that struck me on the website was the strange looking cross “symbol” he has on the cover of his book. It’s supposedly a conservative christian group or something, but the cross meshed in with the R, seemed more occult-like, or influenced… I don’t know… But anyway, other disturbing things on the site, a video of this John Conner guy at a gun store, talking about purchasing weapons and shooting satanists… And also, on the forums I read someone posted a Tim Boucher article on the Bohemian Grove! But anyway, I’m not really too sure what to make of that place, but I felt like I had to bring it out to attention. Also, here’s the link for the Above Top secret forum, on this group. Some of those people can’t help but laugh at the irony of a conservative religious group declaring resistance to a “worldwide economic and psychic takeover” by the very group who created their religion in the first place…

    -Anyways, the puppy thing that is so awful! I saw it on CNN and I too felt like damn, I care more for those puppies that I do for human carriers. Whats wrong with me? I’m over my drug phase in this life and never really had a problem with people going through that but for my younger family members I will try to enlighten them on who they are supporting. I hope I never bought anything from something so nasty and cruel.
    To corelate the two stories on this thread I read a bit into John-Connors site and found out he’s fiercly homophobic. Today on CNN there was not only the puppy dog site but also this http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/02/02/gay.shooting/index.html
    That freakn scares me someone could do that to people and I’m hoping that this Connor guy isn’t that messed up…

    I’m almost thinking he is… Some of those videos, I don’t know if you’ve seen or downloaded any of them yet. Him going to a mormon temple and stuff, and that weird audio thing he did of “Yoda.” Really disturbing. The video with the guns to me shows that he might be inclined to use violence, especially against the “homos,” as you have mentioned. Scary people out there in the world.
