You have reached the archives of an old blog by Tim Boucher called “Occult Investigator.”

It ran between June of 2003 and March of 2005, at which point it was renamed to Pop Occulture (my current blog - still going strong!). Both blogs cover/ed all manner of weirdness: paranormal, alternative religion, conspiracy, counter-culture, mass media, mythology and who knows what else.

This is the blog where I did a lot of the foundational research and writing which lead into bigger and better (and more focused) things with Pop Occulture. I recommend checking both out to see the evolution of my thinking and writing. If you’re looking for new posts on cool crazy subjects though, you’re going to have to swing on over to Pop Occulture, as this Occult Investigator blog has gone into permanent retirement status.
