O, Draconian Devil!

Towards a Grand Unified Conspiracy Theory, Part 2

I want to tell you a story about the world we live in and the worlds beyond, and of those who walk between. Like any story, it is both true and false at the same time. I leave it up to your intuition and your good judgement to discern which is which, if any is either at all…

In the previous installment of this series, we talked about two realms of existence: the prison world of Linear Time in which we exist bodily, and the world of Mythic, Eternal, Spiritual or “Real” Time that exists over and above this one. We talked too about Jesus, who in this story broke down the walls and categories of Linear Time, from a Mythic realm above. While his story is important and powerful, he has not been the only one to walk between the worlds.

Religious traditions the world over speak of a wide variety of interstitial entities who come and go from our world at will. They take a multitude of names and shapes such as angels, demons, djinn, fairies, aliens, ultraterrestrials - just to name a few. If you’re familiar with the work of paranormal investigator John Keel (of Mothman Prophecies fame), you’ll know about the ultraterrestrial hypothesis, which suggests that these beings live among us, have co-evolved with the human race. Each has their own purpose - some seem to be elemental beings, supporting natural phenomena and processes. Others seem to feed off human fear, while still others seem to be messengers, bringing light from higher realms.

There’s an old Irish legend about the sidhe (the tall noble type of fairies - Tolkien’s elves, essentially) that they are angels who fell to earth. Some say they were rebel angels, siding with Lucifer in his fight against God. And when Lucifer fell down into the Linear Prison of pride that his actions had built him, the fairies fell with him. I’ve also seen mentioned somewhere (not sure where) that the sidhe were the angels who refused to take sides in the war of Light Against Darkness, White Against Black, and for their perceived disloyalty where banished as the gray race to the realms below.

And yet they still retained some measure of power, some measure of their selves in Mythic/Real Time - power which enables them to flit in and out of the walls of the Black Iron Prison, powers to warp and create illusion (glamour) in the minds of those of us locked therein. Researchers like Keel and Jacques Vallee have gone to great lengths to connect the historical accounts of these in-between beings to the modern day accounts of UFO and alien contactees. Though their appearances and trappings differ in some cases, their techniques seem continuous: sowing trickery, illusion, abduction, torture and experimentation upon the unlucky prisoners of Linear Time.

An old interview I found with author Daniel Pinchbeck sees him theorizing about the purpose these beings might have in the ecology of metaphysical existence:

I don’t think UFOs or the “grey aliens” who like to pop out of them are literal space travelers from another physical planet. I think the Greys are closer to goblins - infraterrestrial or subterrestrial entities, Ahrimanic, to use Steiner’s term. Apparently in the Islamic tradition, they talk about “soulless entities” that are pre-Adamic, pre-human, and the “Greys” seem to fall into that category. Clearly, they have some function to perform - perhaps they are workers or mechanics who help to hold together quantum reality. In many of the abduction accounts, humans are brought to play with the alien or “hybrid human alien” children, who don’t speak and are quite lethargic. Like our children, the Grey children use toys or blocks - but where our blocks show different words and colors when turned, the Greys’ blocks emit different emotions when they are turned. The Greys are telepathic so they do not have to convey concepts to each other, but they are trying - pathetically and rather desperately - to learn how to feel, and they cannot manage this. It seems that they need the emotions - especially fear - emitted by the human energy body in order to sustain themselves.

Whatever their origins or true natures may be, these beings seem to have as vast an interest in us as we do in them. We are literally fascinated by them and they know it:

fascinate - 1598, “bewitch, enchant,” from M.Fr. fasciner, from L. fascinatus, pp. of fascinare “bewitch, enchant,” from fascinus “spell, witchcraft,” of uncertain origin. Possibly from Gk. baskanos “bewitcher, sorcerer,” with form influenced by L. fari “speak” (see fame). The Gk. word may be from a Thracian equivalent of Gk. phaskein “to say;” cf. also enchant, and Ger. besprechen “to charm,” from sprechen “to speak.” Earliest used of witches and of serpents, who were said to be able to cast a spell by a look that rendered one unable to move or resist. Sense of “delight, attract” is first recorded 1815.

While they conduct experiments on us, try to communicate with us and learn from us, theories suggest that we have often welcomed them as teachers, spiritual leaders and culture heros. Other theories suggest that our military and political leaders have long had occultic contact with these entities, and willingly enter into dark pacts and sacrifices with the In-Betweeners in exchange for some small measure of power over the illusions of Linear Time, and the social institutions built upon it.

A recent post by master conspiracist Jeff Wells indicates that perhaps those in power, the elite prison wardens, have an understanding of the situation as somewhat similar to the narrative threads we are developing here. Jeff describes a UFO contactee’s experiences with two military men who came to quiz her about a UFO experience she had, and if it were changing how she viewed life and the afterlife:

They also confided that while some on the project believed the kidnappers to be extraterrestrials, others had concluded they were “demonic beings whose point of origin was somehow connected with the realm of the dead and the afterlife, and that the creatures derived sustenance from the human life force - namely, the soul.”

In the cosmology we’re developing here, we have turned notions of the afterlife upside-down. We quoted Philip K. Dick as saying that it is we who are dead, we who are stuck in a repeating groove of the afterlife. Perhaps these beings described by the military men are here to free us from that. Or perhaps their purpose is to keep us firmly enmeshed in that illusory Matrix, bleeding us of soul energy for their own sustenance, garmonbozia.

The way they seem to do it is by harnessing our fear of ego death, of the complete dissolution of our identity - which I suspect is required for the successful transition from Linear Time into Real/Mythic time. They single out those who are making a break for the prison walls, who have spontaneously or through much study and discipline have begun to chip away at the confines of Linear Time. In some cases, they scare people so shitless that they never again seek out Real/Mythic Time. In others, they seem to satisfy this innate human desire to break out of Linear Time and fly through outer space, etc. But their power is illusion. They concoct a Sham Heaven, as Jeremy Puma described some time ago:

The Heaven of the [gnostic] Demiurge, however, would be a different story. It would be heaven a la Aldous Huxley, in which everything is provided for as long as the individual spirit accepted the total restriction of Freedom and ultimate servitude to the Archon. It very well might be a place of clouds and “angels” and harps, of singing the praises of “GOD” forever and ever and ever and ever and . . . . In so doing, individuals within the Sham Heaven would be acting rather as a “power plant” that maintained the existence of the Archons.

Either way, they get to feed on fear, or on worship - both of which occur as a result of people mistaking their powers of illusion as actual reality, both of which seem to further fuel the illusion. The net result is that we either remain trapped repeating our lives endlessly, controlled by our own mistakes, which we are too scared to overcome. Or we feel as though we are evolving and ascending upward, but in reality, we have merely been caught in nets laid for us by predators who would feed off of us.

    Tim,
Entering those realms does not require “ego death”. Actually it’s more of an ego dissolving. When the ego dissolves however, there is no consciousness, no memory- so what is the point?

Rudolf Steiner describes it like this: We have a drop of rasberry juice and drop it in a barrel of water, and it of course expands out till we have no taste of juice in the water. That is the ego expanding out into the Cosmos. The mystic, on the other hand, learns to “keep his drop intact”.

There are many Luciferic Elementals, but also Christian ones. Some of the Luciferic ones like to pretend that they are Aliens.

Dr. Geo is a doctor of mathematics who sees fairies.

Yes, you’re right. I was unclear on how all that fit together for myself. I’m both trying to work out an idea and realizing that the idea is just that and may not match reality. I guess what I was trying to get at was that the fear that is played upon is the fear of the ego being overwhelmed.

I would love to hear more about elementals if you care to share.

I also like the raspberry thing. Interesting.

    From http://www.awakeninthedream.com:

“The destructive world events throughout time immemorial are the effects of an archetype getting constellated and being unconsciously acted out as human history. The archetype is continually creating novel iterations of the exact same underlying invariant process, which is to say “itself,” like an endlessly self-generating fractal unfolding over linear, historical time. Until the archetype is consciously recognized, however, instead of unconsciously acted out, we are doomed to endlessly re-create its negative, destructive aspect as if we were somnambulists under an insidious spell.”

When the ego dissolves however, there is no consciousness, no memory- so what is the point?

I think this sentence is problematic. The ego (as far as I understand, of course) remembers nothing on its own and conceives nothing on its own. It has no intrinsic properties. If it hopes to retain memories of higher experiences, it is mistaken in thinking that it can do anything at all. It is purely determined, utterly dependent, an epiphenomenon.

Once realized, there simply is no ego to return to and it is clear that there never was one. There may be points in future linear time at which the ego or self seems to be present, but this is just a particular way of looking at things.

So while the ego cannot understand the point of the work, this does not matter, it is not the ego that does this work in the first place, but the spirit which is the actor.

Tim, it is very interesting to me to see you touch upon this particular subject matter. Further underscoring the apparent cyclic nature of human experience - real or imagined - it seems mankind is coming ‘full circle’ in its understanding… or at least conceptualization of phenomena which we have a difficult time labeling or describing in an articulate fashion.

Instead of the fascination with ‘aliens’ of the extraterrestrial variety that held many folks in thrall throughout much of the 2nd half of the 20th Century… people appear to be receptive to more ‘terrestrial’ origins for the unexplained. Much of the current fascination with ‘ultra’ terrestrials or whatever one wishes to call them: manifestations of the Anima Mundi, ‘trickster’ phenomenon, elementals… have their roots in age old traditions.

I have been reading the esoteric ‘classic’ THE SECRET TEACHINGS OF ALL AGES
by Manly P. Hall and quite a few things it contains have resonated with me and made me think about a number of things in novel ways. It has been something of a connect the dots experience for me. You may already be familiar with it, but if not… check out the section entitled ‘’The Elements and Their Inhabitants”, you may find it it to be an interesting supplement to your current musings:

    Hi Tim,
An of the books by Geoffrey Hodson are good:
The Brotherhood of Angels and of Men
Fairies at Work and at Play
    The Kingdom of Faerie

The daughter of the child rearing expert, Dr. Benjamin Spock, wrote a book on the subject: Fairy Worlds & Workers (Marjorie Spock).

The Spiritual Beings in the Heavenly Bodies and in the Kingdoms of Nature by
Rudolf Steiner, is an excellent lecure cycle on the subject. It explains how the Nature Beings can be observed and their consciousness- also their relationship with the higher beings.

Pinchbeck is right, many of the Aliens are really Nature Beings, or more correctly these Ahrimanical beings are associated with electiricty.

They appear naked, without covering, without hair, and are bony, wiry creatures, who have a love of science, and find it necessary to be incorporated in a craft which has many buttons, doodads, and levers. They are assumed to be of great intelligence, but rarely communicative. They inhabit all things electrical, as this is their only manifestation upon earth, they dwell within such activity; and the computers which devise the special effects are so stimulated (operators also) into depicting these creatures as best they can.

Trevor Constable has shown us the real nature of the UFOs. Though we don’t support his Cloud Busting in any way.

    Hello prnsqlr

Once realized, there simply is no ego to return to and it is clear that there never was one.

Who or what is desiring to return to the ego?

My terms are defined in Theosophy.

The term used by the mystic for this expansion of the ego is ecstasy.

Touring in realms of the oceans of indescrible bliss is called the state of Nirvana (literally, blown out- like a candle).
