Rigorous Intuition Hacked?

For anyone who has been following, I just wanted to post a friendly update about Jeff Well’s Rigorous Intuition conspiracy blog site. If you click on the main link, it looks like his last post was almost two weeks ago. But there has been apparently a problem with Blogger that won’t let him update the home page. However, if you click on his June archive, you can see some more recent posts that he has made.

Also, he has set up a temporary new Blogspot address at rigint.blogspot.com/. I have been pleading with him on and off to just set up a WordPress site for him for a long time now, and just import all his old stuff into it. It’s actually a pretty easy process and they have a nice import tool that does the job.

Anyway, Jeff offers this one speculation on the whole thing:

(I don’t know that it was a malicious attack, but my paypal account was hacked the same day I went down.)

I guess it’s possible, but Blogger has been plagued with problems for years, which is why I left them in the dust long ago myself. Anyway, hopefully things will be back to normal soon over there. In the meantime, go on over and lend him a little emotional support.

I use wordpress, after about a year of MT…I really, really like it. It hasn’t dropped a post in ages, the RSS updates quickly, and the input field is actually big enough to see what i put in there.
