Actually, I think when we “learn” things in dreams that we later “forget” it only means that these are likely things that are not intended for our conscious mind’s use at all. They aren’t lost or forgotten, they just go to work on another level.

I know, I know, that is the logical conclusion. But we can't be sure, can we? Crap, I think I just proved your point.

Past life memory is a nice option, too. If a bit romanticized.

For some reason when i think of the end of civilization as we know and a return to more simpler and better times what pops into my head is a psuedo-ish memory of never being fully dry or fully warm and thus somewhat uncomfortable. Odd, eh?

I don't remember there being any food. Maybe this spring was their source of mystical sustenance.

That sounds like the life for me.... but what was the food like? If you think in this in the context of your " dreams being alternate realities" theory, and you think about how we are supposedly "on the edge of an ice age" or something like that...

Don't you hate it when you learn something in a dream an can't remember it?
Who knows how much we miss? Maybee there is someway, some miracle memory drug or something, that would allow us to remember that stuff.... If it's not out in twenty years, I'm gonnah be pissed......
