Erotic Mind Control
I just looked up “mind control” on Google cause I wanted to do a little background reading for a post I’ve been kicking around on the subject. What I found though was not what I was expecting. I thought I’d type that in and find a bunch of MK-ULTRA articles and whatnot. Well, that stuff is there, but it’s not the first result. It turns out that a short story fetish sex site called “The Erotic Mind-Control Story Archive” is actually the number one result. Go figure.
The site features the following disclaimer about it’s probably not safe for work contents:
This site is for fantasy only. The situations described here are at best impossible or at worst highly immoral in real life. Anyone wishing to try this stuff for real should seek psychological help and/or get a life.
Once you start writing sex fiction in this genre though, where do you really draw the line? Do you need to “get a life” only when you start wanting to try it in real life, or should that disclaimer come way sooner? I guess you’ll just have to read some of their stories to find out for yourself!

Having not got all that much experience with dominance & submission, but some, I don’t see how it’s bad for consenting adults to do this type of thing–strikes me as a possible profound means for exploring power dynamics.

Yeah, I’m not saying I have a problem with dominant/submissive stuff. I was commenting on people drawing a restriction around actually acting it out, versus just fantasizing about it.

Did you read Heretics of Dune and Chapterhouse: Dune? A group known as the Honored Matres play a major role. Very interesting ideas Herbert was playing with (and my favourite of the Dune novels):—
PS — On the topic, I just found some sick illustrations of the Dune universe, by Mark Zug. I am sure there are other fans that frequent Tim’s site.
