This podcast is essentially about striving to hear the “voice of god” and that you don’t actually need to believe in God (capital “G”) in order for this to happen. Because, the good news is: you’re not responsible for reality. Despite what you’ve been lead to believe all your life, your beliefs do not actually determine what exists. The unfolding realization of this for me over the past several months has been an extraordinarily fruitful thing and it has been a tremendous relief and release.
I think at some point I felt like I was Atlas, holding up the weight of the entire universe with my beliefs about what the universe was and meant. But maybe the joke is actually on Atlas and his strength isn’t actually required at all. The sky holds itself up regardless and realizing that, he becomes freed to truly figure out what it is he needs to do in the world. Imagine what he could accomplish with the strength to hold up the heavens applied in other realms of endeavor…

…okay, i feel like MAJOR dumb-dumb, but could you please tell me what i need to download for your podcast to play…. i’ve been trying to figure it out since you started them…
I don’t know. Depends what operating system you’re running. Winamp is always an easy program to get to play mp3 files. Windows Media Player also should work. For Macs, I think iTunes is likely the biggest name out there.
Really though, you shouldnt need to “download” anything though - as you can just hit the Flash-based player (oh, well assuming you have Flash installed that is) and it should play right from this window.
Love is beyond logic and reason. Love is a light that shines in all men (and women) Love is the emotional experience of the Light of Life within. And it is incomprehensible to the analytical logic of the mind.
I felt a similar relief when I gave up on the “everything happens for a reason” theory. Of course some things do happen for a reason, ie ‘I eat like a pig therefore now i am fat’ but some things are beyond our control. There is a lot of randomness, things just happen and you make something out of it yourself, or not.
