This virtual mode of enquiry, the power of search engines, youtube and the google AI offers us a way to go deeper then before down the rabbit hole. For all intents and purposes this should mean that we are all going down our own seperate reality tunnels, linking and cross linking all of the synchronistic events and media that we can find and creating a personal truth. In doing so we should have a whole heap of truths that are incompatible with others, and we should be getting lost in our own wankfests of self indulgent synchornistic hedonism reality, me myself, i have figured it all out ain’t i smart worlds of illusion.

But I dont feel we are, I think that by looking at the links and keeping a detached view you see the over-reaching patterns that occur again and again. Therefore you can see when the errors occur, the glitches in reality, the exceptions to the rule. Thats what exceptionology is all about am i right?

This all would have occured at such a smaller scale in the past.
When the mystic of old wanted to look for signs of the grand plan, or hints at the nature of reality he would have had far different tools to work with then our media saturated brains. The synchronicities and patterns that we can see around us now via the magick of the search engine and mass media were not available to people 60 years ago.
Therefore their spiritual messages, the results of tarot readings, or oracles, or psychadelic/shamanic visions must have affected their personal reality more. To develop some kind of synchronistic pattern seeking practice you would have had to do some form of oracle , like a tarot reading in order to get some random synchonistic “noise” in which to look for patterns within. Or visions to decipher. Our visions and oracles come home delivered everyday 24/7

Or even in say the past 20 -50 years people would get wrapped up in conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory searching for the truth. My bookshelf is full of people who think they have the truth, from copies of the bible, to books about alien channeling and prophecy, to hermetical magick books. And then there are the real weird ones… These people found a tunnel and stuck with.

You would then have had to apply these truths to your own life in order to get any real meaning out of them. This would have made the practice more dangerous, becuase there is no insulating layer.

We can now do this all at “arms length” and not have to integrate it all internaly to play with these ideas. We can see that perhaps there are many truths, or layers of “truth” or Robert Anton Wilson style probabilites that mean that beliefs are not black and white, but there can be shades of gray and probabilities of things being true.

By the way I love that way that Youtube has become the ultimate fact checker… I mean, no footage of apparitional ghosts, no footage of physical E.T’s, no footage at all of physical bigfoot (feet). If these things had any “physical” basis in reality then they would be here wouldn’t they. You cant deny that point.

In the past this work would have driven many a man insane, or stuck in reality tunnels that you would have considered ultimate “truths” (the same thing I suppose).

I think that we are at the dawn of a new era, a psycho-spiritual-alchemical-synchronistic-online-virtual-informational new way of looking at all of these ideas, and you are at the forefront. Would still like to know what you think an objective reality/truth is.

Most of this spam is coming from PCs that have been hijacked and which pump out thousands of emails a day. I fail to understand why ISP’s can’t detect when a customer’s computer is pumping out spam, suspend its service, and alert the customer that they have an infected computer. If ISPs are reluctant to take this step for fear of alienating customers, these actions should be mandated by government.
