Load Times



Been hearing some talk that the load times on this site are crushing some people’s browsers, thanks to all the video data that I have been including. I have taken preliminary steps to stop this problem or at least put a dent in it without having to sacrifice the new format I’ve been using (which I really rather like). So for the time being, only the latest two posts will be displayed on the front page of this blog, which should work out just fine. You can still view posts that are older than that, you just have to scroll down to the bottom of the front page and click on “Older Articles” to navigate to them. Please let me know either way if this modification changes load times for everyone - especially if it makes this faster, cause that’s what I’m after.

    Faster now, thanks. I had it timed perfectly and had been using your site to test my computer if other sites were loading slow.

    It’s a necessary thing, to post something like this in order to resolve a problem… but it’s also surreal: Smack dab in the middle of all these stylized posts springs your actual voice.

    btw: I never had a problem loading but it’s a good idea to streamline your page, given all the media you are posting on it.
