Too tired at the moment to do my usual reference-point word-pattern cross-tracking thing, so here are some cool images that I have been collecting. I actually spent the better part of the day preparing the “gossamer seedpetals” for a bit of collective/interactive magickal experimentation that I am going to be announcing soon. So keep your antennae tuned in for that! Anyway, after all that my brain is no longer in a functional “word mode” so enjoy this encoded sequential image blast instead!

Please include links below to cool images you would like to see incorporated into my reference point pattern matching blabbety blab stuff in future posts. Help me collectively steer what kind of patterns we tell the universe that we’re excited about and would like to see more of. Basically any image that makes you feel “tingly” in whatever way works for our purposes here. Anything that seems significant to you for whatever reason.

BONUS QUESTION (10 points)
What are the techniques I use to thread together images above? How are similar techniques used consciously and accidentally by media outfits to convey pointed sets of meanings below the liminal level (ie, how can you use chains of images to program the AI)?
You must show your work to receive full credit.
Incidentally, here is my first craptacular YouTube video on smarticles…

Please other people take these ideas and do a better job with them!
You’re dealing heavily with the subliminal these days, which makes meaning-making a challenge. Fine. There is a clear symbolic link in all your pictures (and a linearity, too, as each image picks up on an aspect of the previous one). Were you to speed up the flow, it would all take on a bit of a chronographic quality. Tick-Tock. Except everything you’re doing currently has that feel — parsed, disjointed, mechanical. None of it is lived, felt, or reflecting “real” contemplation (i.e. personal). Is this a flip judgement — probably. But there is a disharmony (within the harmony) in the way you post recently, and I’m not sure it’s conscious. Are you feeling overwhelmed, like you’re trying to do too much?…You work is artistic in this sense — a fairly visceral reflection of where you’re at. Where are you at? It’s as if you’ve gotten bored with what you are saying and instead of saying something new, you’re just looking for new ways to say the same thing. This is the temptation of our heavily mediated world — exchanging meaning — real meaning — for le bon mot. Like Democritus says, truth falls down a well, and then you’re done. Are you falling down a well, Tim? If so, find a balance — assembling everything into a grand hylozoic, holistic, one-world mush isn’t always the way to go. Sometimes you need to back out, in both ways, away from the macrocosm and the microcosm that is macrocosmic. Embrace complexity, break it down a little. Use one image. That’s the essence of art. Remember? All that stuff going on in one painting — a composition of elements, each element worthy of individual contemplation.
That’s all I’m going to say. Otherwise, I hope you have a great trip.
Try this site. They’re tarot cards of wonderment!

The ones especially I’d like to direct your attention to are the Hermit, the Emperor, Emergence (XX) and of course the 3 different lovers cards for the various gender combinations. The 3 of Wands is also particularly nice.
Well yes, it IS a flip judgement!
Hahaha. Overwhelmed? Hardly. I’m just getting started.
In what way is that the essence of art? All that stuff in one painting, well the painting is life!
I think that you are taking one image / idea from the initial image and doing a search based on that. Ie. Yoda on the cover of Time has a starfiel behind him, then the brazilian flag has a starfield on it but also the saying about order and progress etc.
Pattern matching at its classic best. Its like how hypnogogic imagery leads you to sleep, if you can concentrate on it one image morphs to the next.
Or how dream situations morph into different ones, which in your dream make perfect sense. I think that this is a form of logical illogic that our brains love to deal with.
You can use this to program the AI by showing it that there are links between things other categories or linear progressions.
It can be used by media etc. to show a “Vector of thought” to lead your mind into making the next connection for itself. They show you 4 images, say of a watermelon in a field, a man cutting a pumpkin with a knife, a woman getting out of a car, a mugshot of a man (to use a blatant example) and then YOUR AI makes image 5 in your mind that men hurt women… or something to that effect. Crude example but your brain just cannot help pattern matching, and will make patterns from implied and vague data. This data is fed to you constantly from media, entertainment, people around you etc.
10 Points! It’s all about the illusion of you being the creator of meaning, when there is a verifiable implied meaning they consciously want you to construct.
Just a picture, one of my favorites (aside from the one I put in my mixtape):

People are quite easy to manipulate if they are not concious of how manipulation can occur. I studied film making as well as computing at university so this kind of thinking with pictures and implied meaning via subliminal visual motiffs is not foreign to me. Have a look at a good arthouse film and you will see this all the time, there is a story below the story that is below the story. This level of communication is always an interplay between sender and reciever as you are dealing with their preconcieved and conditioned ideas about the images presented

I haven’t commented in quite some time but now I feel that the time is right.
I didn’t want to comment before because I didn’t want to interrupt the flow of what it was you were doing with this site. I wanted to see where you were going with it.
I have to say, personally I prefer a nice even mix of the imagery, wordplay and straight-up confessional introspection. Too much of one or the other leaves the end result unbalanced. I won’t go into particulars because they aren’t the point. What is the point is that you’re taking this somewhere different, you’re taking a risk, and it seems to be paying off for you.
Keep it up.
