Here is how your world will disintegrate as you become more skilled in the Exceptionology™ Arts. It is a sequence and it usually goes a little something like this (mileage may vary):

  1. Curious Items - Essentially “things that make you go hmm”. Things you notice from time to time that are odd, unusual, interestingish, random synchronicities, etc. They are usually noted and then you move on, not thinking too much about them.
  2. Repetitive Patterns - This is where you’re likely to start going crazy if you’re not careful: if you start devoting a lot of energy to tracking these “curious items” you will inevitably start finding them everywhere (See all that shit about the number “23″, an engineered memetic reference-point collapser…) and they will start intruding in parts of your life where you don’t expect or necessarily even want them. We’ll have to talk about this one a lot more as we go along, cause it’s a big deal. It’s basically where your view of reality is beaten into submission over and over again until you begin to accept it and learn how to work with it. The ultimate point in this stage that I have noticed is that you can begin to use the patterns and feed them back onto themselves to manipulate reality - to a certain degree anyway.
  3. Undeniable Signals - These are those events which occur where it’s like you’re literally being hit over the head by God or by somebody. They are so powerful and vivid and *real* that you simply have to accept them. This is when you’ll start to find your old beliefs falling away. But not just falling away - because your old beliefs were based mostly on an accepted belief about how you thought or were told things were. These events will replace that with beliefs which are not necessarily “beliefs” at all because they are rooted in actual physical experiences and manifestations. It’s like they say about love: if you’ve ever been in it, then you don’t need to “believe” that it exists… Actually, it’s all about love. That’s pretty much the whole point of all of this. No other doorway swings this wide

Really, the esoteric should be the simplest thing in the world to attain to and understand. Because all the esoteric really speaks about is how to take part in the active glory of God’s hand acting through his creation. It is, in essence, poetry. But poetry today is marginalized and esoteric. Who or what now loves poetry? How and where does poetry prosper?

When you see tears run down the human countenance you do not examine by the laws of physics how quickly or how slowly the tears roll down; they express to you the inner sadness of the soul, just as the smiling cheek is the expression for the soul’s inner joy. The pupil must educate himself to see in each single flower in the meadow he crosses, the outer expression of a living being, the expression of the Spirit dwelling in the Earth. Some flowers seem to be tears, others are the joyful expression of the earth’s Spirit. Every stone, every plant, every flower, all is for him the outer expression of the indwelling Earth Spirit, its physiognomy that speaks to him.

I’ve been writing down a lot of stuff lately. Stuff in my little green butterfly notebook that I have been writing with a purple pen. Stuff about God and Creation and Love and Beauty and Poetry and Prophecy. The kind of stuff that, you know, you capitalize like the Germans do, because it’s so ideal and important that it’s not to be misconstrued or misrepresented. The kind of stuff I’ve always wanted to write, using the kinds of words that I’ve always wanted to use, but which I’ve always felt were somehow off-limits, somehow tainted by the misunderstanding and grubby hands of those in the world who use them. But it is not so, these words are ours. They always have been. They belong to us, to you and I, to this moment we’re sharing across the vast sea of cyberonicules. These words, I will write them in ALL CAPS for you and then we will say them slowly and savor their sweet sound on the tongue’s of our hearts’ fire. These are the words. Let’s go:

LOVE
GOD
BEAUTY
CREATION
TRUTH
PASSION
POETRY
PROPHECY

Understand ye though that these are but a beach-head. These are just a preliminary strike which we are snatching from out the jobs of the culture of death which hides in the skinny emaciated faces of empty sexdeath advertisemen and advertisewomen. Let their poisoned hands wither when they reach for these words and their minds atrophy into nothingness. Let their tongues unravel and hang themselves if they even dare to attempt pronouncing these our most holy and revered words. This is a Crusade. The Infidels do not occupy Jerusalem. They hide within our language. They shall be rooted out and God’s armies shall march victorious down the storied pathways of Google Search Algorithms and spamROBotINhood assassins.

He shows us mankind’s evolution in pictures and these pictures work quite differently from the abstract thoughts which have been produced by the modern materialistic age. If you picture evolution in such lofty and powerful pictures as the Grail, then the effect is different from that of ordinary knowledge, which is unable to exercise any deep influence on your organism. Imaginative knowledge works down on the etheric body and thence on to the blood and this is the medium which acts formatively on the organism. Man will become increasingly more able to work on his organism through his etheric body. All imaginative knowledge based on truth is at the same time healing and health giving, it makes the blood healthy in its circulation. The best educator is imaginative knowledge, if man is only strong and devoted enough for it to be able to work on him.

Also in those stages I was talking about before: somewhere mixed in and roughly analogous to those three stages are three states. I mean, don’t get into this big dumb Ken Wilber shiny bald head trying to distinguish states and stages because understand that I am only just trying to create a language bridge to lure you out on and then smash it one day all of a sudden. What I mean about the states though goes something like this:

  1. Everything fucking sucks - It doesn’t matter whether or not things are real because the only reality is that everything sucks and makes you more frustrated and anxious and miserable. Like it’s name, this state fucking sucks.
  2. What the fuck is going on? - Also known colloquially as the “nothing is real” stage where your experience of reality begins to warp so much so that you truly do possess the ability to float off into social nothingness. This is the stage where it’s of the utmost importance that you follow God’s advice and build a really good Ark out of Reference Points because he’s going to build a new world out of the things that you tell him during this time period (of testing) are important to you.
  3. Holy fucking shit! - This is the stage wherein the Holy Shit!Spirit starts little by little moving in its belongings into your heartHome and you become anxious because both your True Love and Best Friend is about to start living with you in the Fullness of GOD’s Holy Union with his CREATION. And ah, well, needless to say, your experience of reality starts becoming exponentially better as long as you can keep your heart pure like a POET PROPHET Grail Knight King Lion of the Holy First Order. Are you with me? Are you watching witch words I’m yousing? Are you a tube with God inside of you?

Infinity is God sneezing.

I could probably make this a lot more wordy, but let’s just stop here. It’s time for celebrating anyway, not clattering it up with a bunch of chatter. Have a lovely weekend! The captives are all getting freed. You’re next.

It’s like they say about love: if you’ve ever been in it, then you don’t need to “believe” that it exists…

They say lots of things, don’t they…

    but I say this:
Only someone who HAS been in love can fully and truly disbelieve in its existence.

And if you don’t believe that— it’s probably because you’re in love right now. Wait a few years; all love ends. Well, except yours, because your love is unique and special just like everyone else’s has been since forever. Oh, and all love is eternal, too. Right up until it’s over. ( But then- oops- it wasn’t really real love, after all. So it didn’t count. )

Hahahaa! Yeah, well good luck with all that!

  3. ruaiamiaini Says:

    Ah yes, l’amour.

I just watched Harold & Maude for the first time, so this little exchange remains fresh in my mind:

Harold: “I don’t want you to die, Maude. I love you.”
Maude: “Harold, that’s wonderful. Now go out and love some more.”

Just as its easy to read that quote as either a cynic or a sap, so it is possible to live (that is, to love) in a state of extremes. Its far more challenging to live/ love with steady conviction & purpose. It requires effort & is far safer to watch the game from the bleachers or at home on TV than to enter the arena & risk being losing or being hurt…

…Your mind tricked you to feel the pain
Of someone close to you leaving the game… of life…

Our shallow, consumptive society encourages life at the extremes as the best state in which to encourage a consumer mentality.

No offense, but you kind of sound like a pussy here. Are you seriously going to retreat from that reality because of the pain it causes?

‘Man of sorrows’ is a name for the archetypal man of love.

Don’t confuse any single relationship with love. Love is the internal force that drove you to forge that relationship. This is not a figure of speech. Did you feel you had any real choice in pursuing your love, or would a failure to do so entail a failure towards yourself?

Love is the deep inclination of one thing towards another thing. All the things love each other and are going to someday meet.

    Gravity!

Oh, and just to drive home a point:

Only someone who HAS been in love can fully and truly disbelieve in its existence.

    Corresponds to:

Everything fucking sucks - It doesn’t matter whether or not things are real because the only reality is that everything sucks and makes you more frustrated and anxious and miserable. Like it’s name, this state fucking sucks.

Oh and FYI, I’m not *really* talking about romantic love here, although that’s certainly wonderful too. But unfortunately we’ve all got such wrong-headed notions about what LOVE is and what it’s really all about. Which is why, you’ll notice, that LOVE is at the top of my list of awesome words to reclaim for the good guys!

What we’re talking about here is the LOVE that GOD has for his CREATION, of which you partake in only a teensy tiny element when you experience “romantic love”

  6. Julia Says:

The cynic in me was having a great time laughing at all of you for your romantic notions (Sorry!) when I remembered a ‘vision’ I had about a coworker and his love for his daughter. Long story but I saw clearly that love was something solid and part of the structure of the universe.

“things that make you go hmm”.

Sometimes I hear a word I haven’t heard in a long time and it seems outlined or highlighted in my mind. I know that I’ll hear the word two more times in the next few weeks and won’t hear it again for years. “Triad” and “Das or A Karrussel” are recent ones. Das Karrussel was the name of a poem by the German poet Rilke mentioned in an I read two days ago. It had a line about tears and flowers that sounded similar to the Steiner quote. The second was in an Ad at a ski shop. Oh well, I’m waiting for the third.

  7. theodore Heistman Says:

I really liked it. You sound kind of like William Blake! I am envious. Really brave post.

I can kind of relate to the first guy too, but am holding out hope I will get over that part.

  8. liesl Says:

you being in love… (XII) by E. E. Cummings

    you being in love
will tell who softly asks in love,

am i separated from your body smile brain hands merely
to become the jumping puppets of a dream? oh i mean:
entirely having in my careful how
careful arms created this at length
inexcusable, this inexplicable pleasure-you go from several
persons: believe me that strangers arrive
when i have kissed you into a memory
    slowly, oh seriously
-that since and if you disappear

    solemnly
    myselves
ask “life, the question how do i drink dream smile

and how do i prefer this face to another and
why do i weep eat sleep-what does the whole intend”
they wonder. oh and they cry “to be, being, that i am alive
this absurd fraction in its lowest terms
    with everything cancelled
    but shadows
-what does it all come down to? love? Love
if you like and i like, for the reason that i
hate people and lean out of this window is love, love
and the reason that i laugh and breathe is oh love and the reason
that i do not fall into this street is love.”

  9. cadeveo Says:

The thing about us being forced at extremes so as to be maleable as consumers was a great insight above.

The imaginal intellect/ knowledge of the imagination was cultivated very much in the Renaissance and it has since been downplayed and degraded, especially in schooling. It remains a spiritual science (that is an individual one) and leads on to understanding of Love. Romantic love as we know was just a degradation of the tradition of bhakti, in its Sufic form, that the Crusaders brought back to Europe with them and which formed the basis for codes of chivalry, which later degraded into the cult of romantic love.
Blah, blah, blah. Words, intellect, words.
Make me a vessel for your Love, Oh Eneffable and Beneficent One!

Yes! The love of the knight for his lady, of a poet for his muse, of a devotee to the object of his devotion, of God’s creation singing songs in praise and thanks for being granted the gift of merely existing and yes even of suffering at your feet, O god. We thank thee blah blah blah…

Cool, I just watched Along Came Polly (sort of) three days ago.

And I’m currently in the Everything Fucking Sucks stage after a year or so of relationship-destroying What The Fuck Is Going On craziness.
My life has gone from Wow! I’m an illuminated adept capable of moulding the very universe with my mind, to Wow! I’m an unemployed 23 year old virgin whose every friend has had enough of his bullshit and left.

Right now trying to muster up enough will and clarity to sort shit out is a monumental task that I am wholly failing to complete.

I blame the Beatles for fucking up the word love. As good as they are they really sucked the meaning outta that word.

Also, where did you get that picture of the chariot tarot with the men-lions with breasts. Thats hilarious, and I wouldn’t mind seeing the rest of the pack.

For you mother I will open the whole to psyche and let shine forth my beauty.

  16. Julia Says:

Wrong post but I had to say it. You wouldn’ t think so but Chris’s picture is a Phoenix/Joan of Arc picture and has led into an interesting line of thought. I never wound’ve connected the two or our history of burning people we don’t like.

  17. Tim Boucher Says:

It’s also strange because I had started collecting pictures of people being “burned at the stake” (Including Joan of Arc) to make the symbolic connection of Kundalini fire being raised up the column of the spine…

  18. Julia Says:

The last time I did some searching into this subject I came up with these links.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melek_Taus

    http://www.ziarah.net/peacock.html

    http.//www.avesta.org/peacock.htm

Your rust pictures in the next post are interesting too. I couldn’t find the link but a Geologist examined some of the known beliefs of the Northern Iraqi worshipers of the Peacock Angel and discovered a relationship between them and geodes of Copper. I usually prefer supernatural things that have a relationship to regular, work-a-day things we use everyday but I can’t always see the connections. Hiding this knowledge would’ve secured them from bandits during the Bronze Age and from Muslim purists thereafter.

Another of my lost in time links regarded the Sun Goddess referred to in either the Iliad or the Odyssey. Her metal was Copper and if the ships crew members on her island ate any of her cattle or sheep they would suffer the wrath of Goddess. This number of animals was actually a coded Longitude/Latitude for the St. Lawrence Seaway as measured from Carthage (Pre Columbus) the previous zero/zero in Lat/Long measurements. In Michigan there is a place where a meteor crashed and left pre-smelted Copper on the surface of the ground.

My understanding of history is that nobody really knows where the Copper that founded the Bronze Age came from. There are isolated pockets here and there in the Mediterrean but not enough for an “Age”. Sorry for taking up so much space but I must know this obscure stuff for some reason and sharing it is as good a reason as any.

  19. Tim Boucher Says:

Yeah thats interesting stuff! I will have to let it simmer…

  20. Julia Says:

This is from an article describing burning a person.

When a whole human body burns, all the iron-rich blood still inside can give the smell a coppery, metallic component.

I wasn’t even looking for info on this subject.

  21. Tim Boucher Says:

    Whoa strange!
