I rode with a cab driver who told me a story about a man from his home town in Lebanon who married and had children with a female Jinn. It was said that he came from a very devout family and was reading the Quran one day and "discovered something he wasn't supposed to know". From that day on his wife was visible to him and nobody else. She would occasionally dangle him over their rooftop balcony and people could see that the positions he was in were impossible for a human to maintain.

Over the years they had children. He minded their whereabouts when the family went to the market and made sure they were polite and didn't get stepped on because they were invisible. One day he went out and people could see he was alone so somebody asked him where his family was? He said his wife had left him and had taken the children.

Glad you had a good "trip" Tim...I see the harmony of the spheres has got your blood pumping. There's joy and even a little hootinany. Yee-haw. Suddenly I'm thinking of Kubrick. Anyway, always informative...never thought of the AK-47 as a flowering plant, but there ya go. Come check out the new digs, y'all. I think I'll go eat a seal pup...

Welcome back! Listening to David Byrne sing "Home, that's where I want to be, but I guess I'm already there!" while looking at the picture of the ascension of the Virgin Mary made me feel beyond-words- mirthful-and-joyous!

Transform!
And the fires of transformation and (lower)self-sacrifice
The Arabic of the transformers and of the scribble above phase shift
And the invocation of the Jinn--only for those of the path of Submission who've become of the Purity of a Hafiz:
A precious gem; a miraculous stone reflecting inner light and transcendence
Close your eyes and relax
Home--I guess I'm already there
Sowing the seeds of love
with Guns and Roses

There's one Book, reflected through everything we "read"--the world, the pictures, the smells, the scents, the tastes, and touches, the sounds...
One book we experience differently depending on how we use it
*A Quantum Leap*
And in what ways we know how
Sprites smile upon the sleeper
Oh, glorious Heart-Mind!
The Eneffable-Beneficent
One

Did you know there are gems more valuable than a diamond? Per carat pricing show Sapphire, Emeralds and Rubys have all out-priced diamonds at different times in history. Current claims today are made that Emeralds are most valuable by weight, Rubies by rarity, and Jade is priced highest of all by some estimates.

It just shows that a little rare color and added brilliance is sometimes preferable to the perfect diamond.
