I seemed to recall Robert Anton Wilson speaking highly of Felix the cat somewhere in his books...I'll have to dig around.

That cartoon made me quite happy--a pleasant surprise. I've only ever seen one cartoon with felix in it and have always wanted to see more, since he represents the first of the big time cartoon cats, way before Garfield and my beloved Heathcliff!

I consumed copious quantities of Felix the Cat as a kiddie stayin' at my gramma's when my folks work schedules demanded. Love that cat. Casper The Friendly Ghost was swell too & actually lived in my cupboard, all of which, now taht I think about it, probably goes a ways toward explaining my life's path...

Holy crap, that Felix the Cat video so adeptly covers so many topics I've been getting at lately: from the nature-spirit invocation at the beginning using music, to the kundalini lightning bolt which saws open the brain cloud and then causes illumination from god in felix's head, to the king and his subjects, to using the power of the knight to subjugate the ghosts, etc etc. Great shit! I've never seen any Felix the Cat stuff before this but plan on watching more!
