Allow Outgoing Source Quench
I found this jewel while tinkering with getting my internet set up down in my new place. I just love computer jargon sometimes. It sounds like it comes from outer space. This explanation of it comes from the MSDN reference library:
When this computer’s ability to process incoming data cannot keep up with the rate of a transmission, data will be dropped and the sender will be asked to slow down.
I know it sounds stupid and “white” probably, but I have to admit that not having the ability to watch YouTube videos obsessively the past few days has taken its toll on me. It’s not really about the videos themselves, because that’s stupid. It’s a matter of having these familiar reference points by which to anchor my experience of life and reality. When you’re pulling the rug out from under everything else in your life it really pays to have these little tiny anchors, these little silver threads holding you together: even if they only are Meat Loaf videos and a Cinderella album that I bought from the record store today. It really can be as simple as that.
More soon.

Its funny how you think that You tube addiction is “white.”
I find comments like that really interesting. Nobody ever seems to want to delve into things like that very deeply. Its a tense subject. Little off hand comments like you made are ok as long as they are self deprecating.
The only people that ever take it any further than that are black comedians and people on lists created by the Southern Poverty law center, or liberal sociologist douchebags.
There are no doubt many Japanese people whiter than you though.

There are four one hour episodes in this series. I’m not if they are all on You Tube or not.

As I have owned, so am I owned. These words popped into my head thinking about your love for YouTube videos. Its like that. Whatever we love, whatever in life we look at as gifts we have been given, we ourselves have also been given to…In other words, its like the gifts own us as much as we own them. So though we may see access to all these cool videos (or whatever) as a gift, something we are in control of, we are forced to acknowledge through separation how much the gifts actually influence us…Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but its an important part of love. No matter what, to the extent we gain control, we are also controlled. So love is simultaneously an act of surrender and of conquest.
