A curious thing began happening to me yesterday. It never became quite “full-blown” as I sensed that it potentially could. And that may be either for the best or to my detriment as perhaps I was on the verge of bridging into some major insight into reality. The simplest way for me to describe what happened was that something about the world and about time became “flat.”

I don’t know what I mean by that.

Or rather, I do, but it’s incredibly difficult to put it into words which make some kind of sense. Because the words we use for that sort of thing simply don’t mean the things I need them to mean. Maybe we can collapse the anchor points on those words though. A word may simply be experienced as nothing more than a traumatic moment within the mind when the control of the editor.ai goes blank for a moment, and then frantically begins trying to build a fortress against this loss of control by stacking nearby artifacts to create a sense of meaning out of “context.”

While in California, someone said something one night about how “most people have two personalities, but Geminis have four.” Astrology, classically defined, is something like looking at the exact timestamp a human body entered this world and a reading of the planetary configurations at that moment to derive meaningful data about that personalities likely developmental patterns.

In “flattened” time though, astrology begins to mean something else to me. It is a way to track and predict energetic frequencies. I don’t so much know how to explain this. But instead of there being something called a “year” into which souls protrude via time into our world, imagine there is just a circle that spins. A dial, essentially. Which is all a clock really is. But divorce the spinning dial for a moment - if possible - from the passage of time in your head. Astrology would then indicate that when the dial is in such and such a position relative to the circle that a certain frequency of events is likely to occur with greater or lesser probability. It is a way of looking at how frequencies and energetic patterns are clustered together…

Now that I feel like I have made absolutely NO progress towards explaining what I mean about the world flattening, let’s proceed. Actually, no, let’s just watch some music videos and forget about the whole thing until these ideas circle back round again and take a more meaningful form on the other side.
