[...] And then instead of calling upon a “5″ all the time, you can just use the variable “num”. We could go on and on about that, but symbolinking is more or less exactly the same. What you are doing is defining, naming and - most importantly - renaming (the power God gave to Adam in the Garden). You can’t just do this with any two things though and expect to have success. You need to attach together two (or more) things which have sympathetic characteristics or vibrational resonance. I don’t know how to explain this quite, but you should begin to see it the more you do the symbolic exercises. [...]

Yeah, you gotta let go of those awful bad beliefs about yourself. Or realize they aren't bad. Or realize they are and change. I don't think it's necessary to be too harsh though, and you can't do it all at once even if you try. But unfortunately the only way get rid of that shit is to face it and let it pass through you. Eww.. it suddenly occurs to me why you included this.

I saw a store in Ballard called, “It’s a bowel’tyme!” which does hydrocolonic therapy. Which I think means you poop like crazy for a month or something. Above their building they have a very mind over matter Christian Science type slogan, “WHAT WORRIES YOU MASTERS YOU.”

But maybe if you have the quote (below) in big letters to read every few minutes while you're doing this brutal summoning your own demons, they won't be able to overtake you. Because deep depression can be dangerous.

We did not fall because of a moral error; we fell because of an intellectual error: that of taking the phenomenal world as real. Therefore we are morally innocent.

And how cool is that. I was just flipping through my old sketchbook earlier today and stopped to read that exact passage, which I'd written in there so I would never forget it. Twice in one day. I must need it now.

May the Word of God enter your heart.
May the Spirit of God enter your heart.
May the Love of God enter your heart.
May the Presence of God enter your heart.
And guide you all your days.

I don't know why but having that said to me (I read it as if you were saying it to me) actually really makes my heart feel better. Thank you.

Confession to yourself is very difficult. I think you have to do it repeatedly, without beating yourself up too much over your self-revelations. It is hard for some of us to be brutally honest with ourselves. It helps to have friends who can help us with this. Identifying and renaming is good. For me it is one hell of alot of work. Recapitulation can be a good tool. Castaneda touches on this.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomo_%28Star_Wars%29

Tomo is a secondary character in the video game Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. He is being held hostage by a person named Captain Neg. When you try to get in through his front door the security robot says Captain Neg does not wish to see you. If you persist the door will activate security turrets. You have to cross the roofs of several houses and into Captain Neg's back yard. A beast will escape from a nearby cage and will try to pulverise you. After defeating it you will hear a voice calling for help. It is Tomo inside a cage. Take him to his mother (it is convenient that she is sitting a few steps from the back door) and she will give you a ship part.
