[...] In the Book of Genesis, God gives unto Adam the power to, essentially, create as he speaks. It could also be thought of as prophecy, magic, or - more simply - the ability to Tell the Truth. “Make it so,” Captain Picard used to always say before a member of his crew would execute his orders on the Bridge of the Starship Enterprise. This is the meaning of “Amen” at the end of prayers, as well. Make it so; abracadabra - bring this reality into existence. [...]

[...] And I’m a lot more conscious of beauty than I ever was before. I find my heart moved by beauty on a regular basis. I think that’s the best thing I got out of “going crazy.” Beauty, I think is a good goal. Probably better than happiness. Because Beauty is a universal Truth. It’s Platonic. Happiness is an emotional state. Joy, on the other hand, is something totally different. Joy - as I have gone into elsewhere - is the soul’s response to the Truth of Love transmitted through our standing wave form of reality by way of the angelos of Beauty. [...]

You mentioned that there were "concrete ways to transmit it to other people" which I think is what's different about what's happening here than what I have seen before.

The thing about the "glowy feeling" is that yes, there is not single thing in the world which reliably produces it, its beyond any manifest thing. So when I cling to it it goes, it's this precious thing that only seems to come by the grace of God. I've largely come to accept this about the glow, that 'what goes up must come down" and part of its quality is that it leaves you.

But since I have started reading your site regularly, there has been this massive stream of related coincidences and so forth that almost seems "reliable". Not from any divine source, but from a worldly web site worked on in a worldy way by a worldy human. The effect has been to give me hope, that somehow a thing can be cobbled together by humans from the wright pieces, that could keep me "up there" a little longer than before.

I don't know what exactly it means, but words "kitty" and "hawk" keep coming up will not go away.
:(

thanks your work.

[...] I heard that the Fourth is going to be interesting. It was weird to have him up here and see him out of context. To have the tables be turned. To have me not be the odd man out of the equation. I could go on about it but there’s no point. Guess you won’t get your Green Card now. Guess you can always learn how to tune the moon. It’s not actually that hard. I think the moon ought to be more of a character in the musical. She is spilling out all over the place now. The edges of her mirror have vanished. The ocean rises deep. The mermaids laugh at sinking ships and taunt the sailors with eternal life. But out of the East, a plane rises in triumph (the eagle returns) if only for a moment. God has shown me the way. It is straight and narrow and I have no choice but to follow. It’s called clarity and yeah it makes no sense. And that’s where Trust comes in. Or is that Faith? Doesn’t matter. All that matters is I follow it. I believe because it is ridiculous. Time and separation are meaningless. Powerful, but meaningless. [...]

<blockquote>And this glowy feel fell on me.
After this I walked to Subway, and there was this presence and voice in me that told me what to do. </blockquote>

Awesome! I know exactly this feeling you're talking about. The presence is real and literal and powerful and good. And once you know it, there are concrete ways to transmit it to other people if they are open to it.

<blockquote>The few people I met all acted like they knew me, or wanted to, which is what usually happens when I have that certain glowy feeling.</blockquote>

I also had a weird moment like this when I went to Subway (oddly enough) like three weekends ago after I wrote my first draft of the musical.

It is literally that the Spirit of God descends upon your heart and takes up residence there. The thing I struggle with is getting it to stay there throughout the trials and traumas of my day-to-day life. But I guess, as I already wrote - or was written through me above, by that same spirit - "<em>The Truth hides itself so that it may be recognized and thereby ignite Joy in our souls.</em>"

I like the Wright brothers thing a whole lot. Makes some kind of sense for me right now.

User feedback #8592

So when I read your post, and you said sin was a bad word and suffering was better, I felt a strong sense of agreement because in the big picture, sin is just using your faith word creative power to create hell for yourself in some way. (theft affirms your poverty, violence affirms the lack of justice in your world etc.) So I don't like "sin" because it implies you should be ashamed, like you got something out of it. But really, I thought, its like cutting off your own balls. Its "a shame" that you did it but there's no use in being "ashamed" because its you who pays the price.
Then I reflected that the castration metaphor was sort of sexist, so I changed it my mind to "cutting off your own foot." At this moment Mathew 18, where Jesus says its better to pluck out your eye/cut off your hand than to sin, made sense in a universal way. Because the creative faith language manifestation organ is much more important to our well being than just a hand or eye. I read this whole chapter and it all of the sudden clicked for me, (I hated it before) and folded down and melted into this thing that became part of me. And this glowy feel fell on me.
After this I walked to Subway, and there was this presence and voice in me that told me what to do. Super strong intition. The few people I met all acted like they knew me, or wanted to, which is what usually happens when I have that certain glowy feeling.

Oh, earlier in the day I saw the Wright brothers plane in my minds eye associated with you. I don't know why but it was nice to see the word "wright" appear on your page.

That is all.

Had a dream last night, although it wasn't much like a normal dream, it was a continual projection of black words on a white background, "manu elise". Never experienced anything like it before.

These words meant nothing to me. I googled each and these two refs stand out for me:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manu_(Hinduism)
Manu (Hinduism)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pillar_of_Eliseg
Pillar of Eliseg - (or Elise's Pillar)

Don't know what to make of it.
