Notes: I Adore Eating Words

Humans have an infinite capacity for self delusion. It is more appropriately known as the creative word of god.

The Prince of Lies is god’s own infinite power to both delude himself and remember that he is deluding himself.

Love let the last wave belong only to you.

The world is a comic book; what is happening between the panels?

Send consistent commands to the youniverse.

The ego is always looking for some trouble. Why? Because if nobody pays attention to you, the ego feels hungry.

    It lives on attention.

So even if somebody is fighting and angry with you, that too is good because at least the attention is paid. If somebody loves, it is okay. If somebody is not loving you, then even anger will be good. At least the attention will come to you. But if nobody is paying any attention to you, nobody thinks that you are somebody important, significant, then how will you feed your ego?

    Other’s attention is needed.

In millions of ways you attract the attention of others; you dress in a certain way, you try to look beautiful, you behave, you become very polite, you change. When you feel what type of situation is there, you immediately change so that people pay attention to you.

A poem I wrote in college about this girl I had a crush on.

    there reaches
    this devotional stage
    of concentration

in which the stars and stripes
    decorated ink-wise beneath the
    cuticles of a big toe

    become fanfare nightskies, patriotic
    moonshines of decades ago stupors
    prize fights, longings.

It is in these daydream seconds
one begins to fear the face

so that, like the perfect antonymn
    of Medusa

    your eyes never meet,
    head bowed in
    the thought of, so beautiful

    would rightly
    turn
    to
    stone.

    Withthat said,

    if someone
    grazing granite steps

    came upon a student digging
    through the void of backpack

    and were to hear him
    exclaim:

“fuck! what am I supposed to do with
    only one chopstick?”

    It seems it would be
    mere second nature,
    a noquestion -

    to then know
    of the desperate need for

    compliment.

She really did have these mayan symbols inked beneath her toes - I should ask her about them.

I actually heard a guy say that when he was coming out of the library. He threw his backpack down
on the steps all pissed off. It was a good question.
