Google Moon Trip Prize Predicted by Pop Occulture

Google is totally copying me! They are stealing my free business ideas! Just look:

Google will award $30 million to the first private team to put a robot on the moon, the company and the X Prize Foundation announced at Wired NextFest in Los Angeles Thursday. Members of the public will also get the chance to send digital mementos to the moon. In this advance from the October issue of Wired magazine, contributing editor Spencer Reiss explains what’s behind the Google Lunar X Prize, and what it will take to win it.

That’s off BoingBoing. I don’t want to make fun of Google, but they need to stop copying me!

It is part of an ARG or Alternate Reality Game which is sponsored by Google (in partnership with Serpentagon and USArchonica and MicroSoft&Thick[The New Bounty]) to promote its new combined bionomic operating/tracking system, due to hit stores in time for TOTU-Xmas, 2007, the year of our Lord who laid in His manger, surrounded by little bleating robot sheep.

Also see these related game resources for instructions on how to play and to win cash prizes and a free vacation on the Moon!

Jeesh! What are they gonna do next? I shouldn’t complain though because Google is my baby-daddy.

and you did declare your unattachment to the idea by calling it free.

now i`m wondering how the fuck i`m gonna land a sheep on the moon.

and doesn`t the word sheep sound like a plural of some other unnamed name for a wool-bearing mammal and austrailian`s occasional girlfriend?
