To Be Of Use

I am entering, I think, that period of my life in which my purpose has been made clear: to render service unto others. Now that my purpose is clear and my heart has been made pure, things seem to be falling naturally into place.

While you are diligently searching for your calling you will be constantly interrupted by people needing help with the most tedious, never wracking, boring tasks. I need a word like ‘greed’, except that it means pursuing what’s truly best for yourself by pursuing what’s truly best for others. I feel like this is a concept that should be pushed into our language toolkit.

    or

    SELFISH CHARITIES

That’s really good. I would buy a .org domain name around that possibly, but someone else should feel free to do so and make selfish charitable money off it!

Now that I’ve noticed it it happens when I’m trying to figure out how to fix things. For years I was just annoyed.
