First, air planes got hijacked. Then Apple invented the AirPort. Now airports have heightened security and wifi connections for travelers. But they are not free and they cannot be hijacked. You must pay for the internet you get.

    Disclaimer: This post was really just exploratory word play around concepts I had experienced recently at airports: the idea that you have to pay for internet access at the airport (which I wish were just freely available). That made me then free-associate to the Apple wifi controller “AirPort” product. And it struck me how weird of a language connection that was…
