One of the things I love about blogging is the immediacy with which you can reach other people who are interested in the same subjects as you. A wonderful blog called “The Evolution of Money” has linked to a recent post of mine on Baltimore Hours (paging: Brad Johnson - please email me!). Looks to be a very cool blog: here is their intro text:

There are a lot of people out there doing things to make our world a better place - teaching, protecting the environment, helping families, fighting for justice, building strong communities…. What’s the one thing that would make all of that easier and put their goals within reach? Money.

There is a growing group of people working to better the ways we use money and exchange resources…building the systems that will allow all the other dreamers and doers to make our world better. Join me as I take a look at The Evolution of Money. –Amy

I don’t think money is the “one thing” which puts people’s goals within reach, but I do think it’s worthwhile because it is a symbol for excitement, for possibilty, for freedom and for self-mastery in people’s lives, and that is why I have been writing so much about it lately. I’m excited to find other cool bloggers and thinkers out there who are exploring these same areas.
