Demiurge Demurrage Devil Dis Pater

Interesting how similar these two words are!

Demurrage is a cost associated with owning or holding currency over a given period of time. It is sometimes referred to as a carrying cost of money. For commodity money such as gold, demurrage is in practice nothing more than the cost of storing and securing the gold.

And:

The Demiurge, The Craftsman or Creator, in some belief systems, is the deity responsible for the creation of the physical universe. Originally, the demiurge was described as a divine entity in the works of Plato circa 360BC, but later in Gnosticism the term refers to the evil creator god of the material world.

There is another mythological connection we could make here as well, to the figure of Dis Pater, which is a Latin contraction for “rich father”.

Dis Pater, or Dispater, was a Roman and Celtic god of the underworld, later subsumed by Pluto or Jupiter. Originally a chthonic god of riches, fertile agricultural land, and underground mineral wealth, he was later commonly equated with the Roman deities Pluto and Orcus, becoming an underworld deity.

The Demiurge or Devil then might be seen as the Lord of Currency, in some sense. We should print an alternative currency which has pictures of the devil on it: Mark of the Beast?

Yeah, good idea. We should all carry around the mark of the beast. Or better yet stamp it on our forehead or right hand. Nothing bad will happen, right?
