I just had a thought: if you have an RSS feed, why do you even need a website at all? I mean, I know you need a URI for the RSS feed to originate from, but why do we still even have actual pages at all? Why isn’t all content just sucked through RSS-ish readers?

Ah, but if you do that then you have no control over how your content is displayed. RSS feed readers display a feed in numerous ways, but I really doubt it’s like how you _want_ it displayed.
Of course… it was a leading and rhetorical question to inspire new trains of thought more than anything else!
