“Information Is The Currency of Democracy.”

That quote is attributed to Thomas Jefferson. What does it mean more broadly applied?

Headed in that direction, this quote off Wikipedia also strikes me as useful: “Information is any type of pattern that influences the formation or transformation of other patterns.”

Have you read about the bill that just passed in the house. There’s a discussion on the Rigorous Intuition board about it.

From what I understand, the legislation seems to be the US FED GOV stopping the spread of ideas on positive-liberty violent change via sharing of information on the internet.

I think you posted a quote about Jefferson the other day that referred to the right of the people to dismantle the gov’t as a right. The French seemed to take this to heart (revolutions in 1789, Napoleon, 1830, 1848, 1871).

Seems like our fed gov is building up its walls with the above mentioned bill, maybe sensing/expecting an internal attack?

While we go backwards England decides to pave the way for a Republic using phrases similar to those used by the Founding Fathers.
