    I think their whole Mechanical Turk effort could be the first step towards a world where a compensation scheme is put in place for “user generated content.” Sure for now its only a couple of pennies, but its a start and better than other who are simply freeloading off the backs of their digital slaves… oops I meant, community. Just something to keep in mind.. eh?

    As more and more people start to wake up to the potential of earning a little bit of cash for their individual creative efforts, I also think they will wake up to the idea that If I post my individual, creative thoughts on a large corporate site or “community”, I am basically giving my idea away for free.

    Which can be good or bad…. i think the jury is out on that at the moment
