oh, because i`m asked to help them to find better ways to live. and that i walk amongst them and have to interact at the bank, the coffee shop, in restaurants, in the malls etc.

i call them "them" because i do feel different than the majority because i`m a little freer. i`m not conscripted to a point-of-sale in a shop or at a bank or in a restaurant, and i consider myself fortunate in that......

but i`ve been aware of the difference since i was a child.

i knew that i would never survive in such a place.

i could never work in a factory for instance, even though many factory jobs pay as much if not more than i earn presently.

for me it`s a matter of needing to be around people who are unburdened with the programming of societal expectations. consumerism. call it what you will.

the need for a constant reminder is so that i don`t get caught in waking people up to have a conversation......because they can`t handle the morning sun in thier eyes.

i am constantly reminded of the fact that t.v. people are in a daze.

Why is that something which requires constant reminder?

thanks for the revision tim.

i am constantly reminded of the fact that t.v. people are in a daze. i don`t miss t.v. one little bit.

nor do i miss my car.

these are media which contain distorted content..........

as a car person i was distorted into a perpetual consumer. sure i earned more, but i was forced to spend more too.

and i look around and i see very few of the things i bought now.
