Welcome To The Clear Lane!

How the Clear Card Works (AKA, Rich People Have More Rights)

The Clear lane is a designated lane at the security checkpoint. Clear Members must verify a fingerprint or iris image (collected during enrollment) in order to enter the lane.
At the Clear lane, a Clear attendant will greet you and check your boarding pass, Clear card and government-issued photo ID. You will be asked to insert your Clear card into the kiosk, which also verify the fingerprint or iris image that you selected during enrollment. When everything is verified (which takes just a few seconds), you will receive a receipt indicating that you are a Clear member.

In Dianetics and Scientology, Clear is stated to be a condition in which a person is free of unwanted influences of past memories, unwanted emotions or painful traumas which are not present in real time. A person in this condition, then referred to as a “Clear”, would be a person cleared of those negative influences. Such a person is said to be “at cause over” (in control of) their “mental energy” (their thoughts), and able to think clearly even when faced with the very situation which in earlier times caused them grave difficulty.

That’s so fucking sick. I’m sure everybody is aware of the “hegelian dialectic”, but what if, as by dint of this “scientology” thread, all fucking religions weren’t ever “in search” of answers but placed there instead by evil motherfuckers who wanted to create problems. Mmmmhrrmm. Yeah. Preaching to the choir. But it’s just so dastardly, when you see a goddamn new religion get born before your very eyes. Ahh, technocratic fascism.

Wow. Again, right before our very eyes.

I actually like the Scientology part, which I only added in as a comparison. I think they are spot on according to my experiences - although I think God should be at the center of it. But I think the “Clear Lane” stuff is whacky as shit.

The Clear Lane will work as long as the economy gives out just enough rewards for work that people think it’s their own fault that they don’t have a Clear Lane pass.

The smartest thing this country ever did was making social class a matter of competitive wealth accumulation.
