Taxes are meant to be TAKEN from the community and they're taken by force or the threat of force/incarceration/ruination/confiscation. It's protection money. Local currencies will be allowed to flourish as long as they don't keep so much value within the community that they become competition. I think Amy is trying to create a firewall between participants in the local currency movement and activists in the local currency movement. Every issue needs activists but sometimes you have to fly under the radar.</description>
